I think this might be part of it… For all of those upset over the lack of activity; Do you think this team is a piece or two away from making a serious run? Because it would have cost a lot of future draft picks and or prospects. We all like the idea of making a splash before the deadline, but I’m not sure I would have mortgaged the future to bolster a team that is playing the way they currently are. If Chevy did make a big move or two, and the team flamed out, he’d be getting ripped for that too. Im not saying I’d be against a change at GM, but it wouldn’t be based on the inactivity over the last week or two.

And now a BS call on Scheifele. Pathetic.

Officials up to their usual standards. Scheifele gets high sticked in the face, no call. Then Nurse interferes with him after losing his stick, No call again. Probably wouldn’t change anything, the Jets are a dumpster fire right now, but calls like that need to be made.

When Eissymont got put on waivers and picked up by San Jose, he was then traded to Tampa for Namestnikov… Then we traded a 4th for him. Pretty strange chain of events.

Just horrendous officiating, but the Jets are persevering.

Jets looking better tonight so far. Would be nice if the refs would give us a call. The penalty on Morrissey, although technically against the rules, happens at least a dozen times every game with no call. Scheifele was tripped early, and nothing.

Haven’t seen too many wins like that. Certainly not a recipe for future success, but nice to get 2 road points. Way to go Helle.

Wasn’t able to watch the game, aside from about 10 minutes of the 1st. 1-7 on the PP and 0-3 with a 2 man advantage?? That is really disturbing. I guess it’s better than struggling 5 on 5, as it’s easier to address, but it definitely needs to be rectified.
