Did the Jets play a solid game? Definitely not; especially defensively, but with the chances they had, they could have put up 8-10 goals last night. Easily. And it seemed everything the Wings threw at the net, went in. Kind of one of those nights. Hopefully the sick guys can get healthy and we’ll see a more focused effort tomorrow.

I was at the game too. Saw Benny and Mickey Moose walked by me while waiting to go to our seats…. Holy crap did the moose ever stink. I’d put down big money that an actual moose would smell better.

The Jets didn’t play badly, they just couldn’t cash in on the chances they had. And that’s a must when you’re so depleted offensively. Once again the officiating is terrible. Not blaming them for the loss, but they are consistently brutal. How in the hell is that high stick on Connor missed? Jets should have had a PP for the remainder of the game. And how about the elbow to the face of Pionk earlier in the game, which also drew blood? That’s 8 friggin minutes of power play time the Jets got screwed out of because of pure incompetence. Sickening.

That’s good news. It means Helle is feeling better and okay to go on the road trip.

Perfetti gets blatantly tripped behind the net and no call. The officiating is getting worse and worse, and the NHL doesn’t seem to care.

Right before the Vegas empty net goal, Wheeler was interfered with going behind the goal to get the puck. That call gets made, it could have been a different story.

Agreed, they are good singers. Don’t know what it was tonight, but their harmonies didn’t sound quite right, especially during the Canadian Anthem.
