Stanley for Frost? Would depend on the pick they want with Stanley. If it’s a late rounder, sure. Stanley doesn’t seem to fit in here and Frost has been scratched multiple times with the Flyers. Both former 1st round picks.

And this is one of the biggest problems. The inconsistencies. The refs just arbitrarily making calls that they’ve ignored previously, then missing a blatant penalty and turning around and calling a tickytac infraction that has no effect on the play. Just be friggin consistent. Set the precedent early and STICK WITH IT. At least then the players will know where they stand.

Yeah, I’m not a a fan of the 11 - 7 either… Especially when 2 of the 7 are often liabilities. Not to mention the constant shuffling of the forwards.

There was probably too much passing, and that’s likely something they’ll need to adjust without Connor in the lineup, but San Jose deserves some credit… They blocked a lot of shots and played a solid game. But yeah, I think we need to see some more shots on the PP… More from the point too, as we’ve shown a knack for tip ins. We don’t have our prime trigger man, so we can’t keep passing it around looking for him.

I agree, if that’s the case…. But I’d rather see him get 1st or 2nd line minutes. I know that’s a big jump, but they need scoring and he’s no good on a checking line.

Really bad news…. And Strome gets nothing… That seems right. Who do the Jets call up to fill the scoring void? Lambert has been putting up some points with the Moose. Chibrikov has too.

How can the league be taken seriously with ‘rulings’ like this? It pretty much condones going after the star players and having essentially no consequences. And acting like you know a player’s intent during one of these collisions, and basing your decision off of it, is ridiculous and insulting.

I don’t think there’s anyway to help anyone understand why that wasn’t a slashing penalty. He busted his stick on Connor, so it was pretty clear.
