I want to give Morrissey some love... He has been playing some excellent hockey, against some top shelf offensive talent. Not to mention he’s put up some huge points.

They called 7 penalties in the first 2 periods and 4 in a row against us, then nothing. Ignoring some blatant infractions. Just be goddamn consistent. It’s all anyone can ask for. And yeah, Wheeler definitely took it in the pills.

Exactly. He needs some consistent ice time with the Jets and not have to worry that if he doesn’t play perfectly, he’s back to the press box. I’m not saying he’s going to turn into a legit NHL player, but he needs a real chance. And he did more than get one wrist shot in that game.

Ehlers was still in a non contact jersey yesterday, but PLD was back in a regular jersey, so maybe he’s back tonight. Unfortunately, that probably means Vesalainen sits. I thought he looked good in game one.
