The kicking/redirecting, goal/no goal, is really a pretty ridiculous rule. Just allow either one. Distinguishing between the 2, or trying to, is silly. And I loved the 2 on 1 goal even more when Tkachuk had a tantrum.

Well said. I’ve said this so many times over the years. Why bother having rules if they’re only enforced occasionally, when it helps even up the PP’s? Call the game according to the rules, at all times, and maybe your integrity would be less under fire.

I really like Pionk, but that was an absolute brain dead pass to give the Habs a gift with less than a minute left in the period. He made a good play to hustle back and then throws it up the middle?! Just flip it out of the zone... We had 3 guys in the neutral zone. If they don’t get it, no big deal, but you can’t put it on a platter like that.
