Strong come back and win, after another sluggish start. I’m surprised no one has mentioned Beaulieu’s terrible play on Montreal’s 3rd goal. Talk about a fish out of water... Just a crazy awkward attempt to... I’m not even sure what he was attempting to do. That goal came right after we finally got on the board, so it could have been a real momentum killer. No idea how he gets paired with Morrissey. I’m not hating on him, but he’s not a top 4 defender.

Niku has looked good.

Getting pretty sick of seeing a high sticking call every time a guy throws his head back. They need to start reviewing those penalties... Way too many are wrong.
-
Moose won 3-2 in OT. Heinola had 2 goals, including the game winner. Perfetti assisted. Samberg had a fight.
-
Terrible penalty for JMo to take, but our PK is absolutely painful to watch. It’s a bloody shooting gallery.

I honestly don’t know that we have any breakout plan.

Jets line rushes with Dubois in: Dubois -- Scheifele — Wheeler Connor -- Stastny — Ehlers Copp -- Lowry — Appleton Perreault -- Thompson -- Lewis
-
Did Thompson even play on the PK? @mikemcintyrewpg · 8h Paul Maurice says the decision to put Nate Thompson in (and take Kristian Vesalainen out) is to help with penalty killing and defensive zone face offs, especially on PK.
-
It’s no surprise that Thompson is back in, but I hate it. Our D zone play has been less than stellar, for sure, but inserting Thompson on the 4th line isn’t going to change anything. The 4th line had less than 4 damn minutes on Wednesday... And they had played well the last couple games. I’m not even necessarily hating on Thompson.... It’s more about Vesalainen and Gustafsson missing out on playing time, that I think is ridiculous.

@KevinisInGoal · 43m Based on Jets lines rushes at morning skate, looks like C Nate Thompson returns between Harkins and Lewis; Stastny with Copp and Ehlers, Scheifele between Connor and Wheeler Oh great, Thompson is back.... Said absolutely no one.
-
PLD is out again tonight, but skated yesterday and today, so seems like he’s close. Same lineup as Monday.
-
Wasn’t implying we should bring him back. Good kid, but I just don’t think he’s an NHL goalie.
-
Comrie is back on waivers.
-
We are a dumpster fire in our own end. We’re going to have to score 8.
-
Perfetti already has his 1st pro goal.
-
Harkins is back in, so it’ll be 12 F and 6 D. Hallelujah!!

@mikemcintyrewpg · 7m #NHLJets hitting the ice for morning skate in Edmonton right now. Expected lineup: Copp-Scheifele-Wheeler Connor-Stastny-Ehlers Perreault-Lowry-Appleton Vesalainen-Lewis Morrissey-Poolman Forbort-Pionk Beaulieu-DeMelo And then either Thompson as 12F, or Stanley as 7D. Thompson getting back in the lineup makes me want to puke, but I’m also sick of the 7 D BS.
-
Maybe I’m missing your point, but he’s played in 2 games, right? It sounds like it’s a minor injury, so let’s hope that’s the case and he’ll be back on Wednesday.
-
Let’s not go off the deep end. He played a couple games and possibly pulled something, it happens. Especially after not playing for almost 3 weeks.
-
No comment.
-
Man, it would be rough to be a Sens fan right now. Dominating, for the most part, and down 3-0.
-
If he’s that unsure, don’t play him yet. Why deplete the forwards on the off chance something MAY happen? Stanley had less than 10 minutes last game and DeMelo had 13; the 5 D men could cover, IF it was necessary.
-
@WiebesWorld · 3h #NHLJets HC Paul Maurice confirms he will use 7 D, 11 F tonight with Tucker Poolman drawing back in. Logan Stanley stays in the lineup. Kristian Vesalainen is out vs #Sens Why? Just why?

Ottawa is obviously the worst team in the division, but are they starting to find a bit of a groove? Their last 4 games have been tight, including a win over the Canadiens.
