I'm not really upset about trading a 7th for him, but I would be very P.O.'d if they actually play him. I can handle the, 'good locker room guy' angle, but there's no way he should see the ice in an actual game.

How so? We gave up more than a bag of pucks, so.... I really can't see how this is a needed move. What the hell does he offer us? Wasn't he benched throughout the playoffs last year? I no he's a popular guy in the room, but seriously, what else?

Haven't seen many people freaking out, but Lemieux was a likable player. Gritty, tough, young with potential. You got to give up, to get, so I'm fine with the trade. Dreger says other teams were calling NYR, about Lemieux, right after the trade was announced.

Completely agree. We give up more space 5 on 5, than the Coyotes do on the PK.

Lemieux and Appleton had 7 minutes tonight. That line has been very good. I just don’t understand why they get nights with 6 and 7 minutes. Nice to see the Jets pull this one out after a couple bad calls and a couple goofy goals.

Well, the Wheeler penalty was complete BS and 2 of their goals were terrible luck/bad bounces. 2nd period was not very good, however.
