Vesa had a good week in the K.... - best rookie was forward Kristian Vesalainen (Jokerit), who scored 4 (2+2) points in four games (three of them being away games). The 19-year-old Finnish forward scored points in all the games he played, with an average time on ice of 16 minutes and 39 seconds.

If we're going to trade a 1st for him, I'd like to see him get more than 6 minutes a game.

They did score a goal and I'm pretty sure they were +1 on the night.

I actually think Maurice was rolling the lines pretty good in the 1st and then, inexplicably stopped playing the 4th line in the 2nd. I could be wrong on my time frame, but I believe the 4th had about 4 minutes of ice in the 1st.

Moose were outshot 42-16 last night, but still won, 2-1. Comrie must have been on his game.

That was a darn good hockey game.

Actually, it was a pretty decent start. Outshot them 11-4 and had some high quality scoring chances. Lundqvist is doing what he usually does to us.

Outside of Scheifele’s early give away, that was a very dominant OT. Lots of chances. Kinkaid made a couple huge saves. Connor was really good.

It was a weak call.

Chairot’s penalty was BS. I’m so sick of watching the Jets back off and allow teams to gain our zone, even when we have the numbers.... 1 on 2, 2 on 3. Absolutely ridiculous.

I’m not sure what is worse, the game coverage or the officiating.

Okay, the 4th line has had 3 shifts already, so maybe they’ll make 10 minutes. Got to say, I’m surprised.

I agree, but I doubt there’s any chance the 4th line gets close to 10 minutes. If they get more than 6, I’d be surprised. Maybe having Perreault there will encourage Maurice to play them a bit more.

Is anyone else annoyed that this Chris Haley guy didn’t know anything about the 5 goals until someone told him? And he’s never even been to a game? Maybe I’m just a jerk, but it kind of bugs me.
