Having played the game, I'm sure he has knowledge to draw from, but that doesn't mean he's good at his job or that he generally says the right thing, when commenting on a play. To me, he often seems completely out to lunch. To be clear, I'm not referring to his comment on a particular play, just an overall opinion.

I’d like to see the back up QB’s get some time in lopsided games too, but with our Defence, the last few years, maybe O’Shea was hesitant to let the foot of the gas, offensively? Knowing we could very easily give up a few scores in a short period of time. Just a thought.
