Ken Wiebe @WiebeSunSports Replying to @WiebeSunSports And now Comrie is taking the early shooting drill normally designed for the starting goalie. He could get the call tonight vs #FlaPanthers -

Like the fans in ‘Hockeytown’, the Jets haven’t bothered to show up yet. -

Thanks goodness. Watching Matthias coasting around, Sunday night, was infuriating. -
God I hope not.

Man, I really hate our PK. -
Buff needs to sit. He’s in a total haze out there. Let Poolman get some action.

Selfish bastards.

Game 20: Less than Kind @ Nashville

Yikes, don’t ever say that name again! Valid point though. You just never know how these guys will respond. But like you said, it would be nice to see him at least get the chance. -

We definitely needed a better option in the middle, no doubt, but O’Shea started Knox over Santos-Knox and we know how that went. Who knows, maybe O’Shea insisted that Hurl was his guy at MLB? I doubt it, but we have no idea. All I was saying is that O’Shea is part of the whole process.

Got to throw O'Shea in there too. He's the one who decided those players should start.

Absolutely, the depth is the best we've seen; and look at the Moose too. I just think Armia has great offensive potential, if he's given an opportunity with decent line mates. Not to mention he's a solid forechecker as well. The kind of hands he's shown (the shorty against Columbus comes to mind), Tanev and Copp can only dream of. And I'm not trying to knock either one of them. -

Yeah, I like the balance too and I figured the ice times would be pretty close from last nights game, so maybe Maurice is making an effort to roll the 4 lines, but I'd really like to see Armia and Perrault getting more ice than they currently are. Special teams can obviously skew the numbers a bit. -

I'd definitely switch the 3rd and 4th lines around... Maybe just the wingers. But there's no way Tanev and Copp should be getting more ice than Armia and Perreault. -
I'm sorry, I thought this was a thread about Richie Hall. I'll show myself out.
-
He did come back out for a shift or two, though. But yeah, I would have no issue with Poolman as a replacement.
-
His last infraction was 6 games, so I think it has to be more than that. The league needs to send a message.... Maybe 10 games?

I'm not so sure our defensive zone play has improved all that much. It seems better because we're not allowing many goals, but I really think it's mostly because of improved goaltending. And our PK is way too passive. Having Kulikov and Myers certainly helps. I just feel like we still have too many lapses in our own end. Hopefully that's trending in the right direction. We are 17th in shots allowed and last in shots for, FWIW. We have a couple games in hand on a few teams.

Bob Irving @BobIrvingCJOB Timothy Flanders goes down at end of bomber practice with left leg injury—extent unknown obviously Unreal. We can't seem to catch a break. Let's hope it's not too bad and he can play.
-
How selfish. Matt needs to get his priorities in order. Kidding, of course.
-
Bob Irving @BobIrvingCJOB Why is Matt Nichols being hugged and congratulated by teammates on the field. And why is he smiling?? Could a baby be involved??
-
Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 2m2 minutes ago Matt Nichols enters the practice field just now in street clothes, and shakes hands and embraces with teammates. Interesting moment, however you slice it. #Bombers

Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 24m24 minutes ago Matt Nichols is M.I.A. from #Bombers practice today. He very well may have practiced earlier today, as the team shortened their practice window by 20 minutes earlier this morning.

You're right, it was cold, but the crowd was rocking. The D was awesome and Garrett ran wild. Pretty sure he was close to 200 yards.
