You can't use Grey cup rings as the only metric of success- that is unrealistic and borderline dishonest. By every other metric- we have had an enormous amount of success these past 4 (5) years. literally one play away in each Grey cup from winning. Don't you get started on "wellifwerostered9dlineandsatthesealandschoenandcutjakethomasandwipethatsmugfaceoffoshblahblahblahblahwewouldhave4greycupsyadayadayadayada" - we know, we have heard it a 1000 times and most would agree with that. But. Despite all the cracks and so forth- it was a great deal of success that we fans have witnessed over the past 4 (5) years. That glosses over any need for wholesale changes- because there were winning. Just posting this for some perspective.

I actually enjoyed that twist. That was decent season arc- it really lent to the epicness of Disco. The one thing that I don't dig is that the seasons were only 10 episodes long. I feel ST:D (also, who ever is responsible for naming the show and missed that acronym- should be fired) could have benefited from more episodes to have more fun, and dilute the lecture tone and "feels" aspect. There were some pretty awesome directions they could have gone with.

I glossed over the lecturing. I liked most of the characters- I wish they used Zora more, that was a missed opportunity. Fast forward 900 years? Yes please. Introducing the characters that were so awesome- they spawned a ridiculously good spin off. Hello Strange new worlds. Action Saru was a thing. I think I could have gone another two years,

ST:SNW is far superior- especially the format, love the stand alone episodes format. I disagree with ST:Disco being a sad sack of **** series- it wasn't great, but it was above dogshit level. It had it's place- it did kickstart the new era of star trek in tv format. But yeah- it was aptly dubbed "Star Trek : Feels".

Agreed, I would have loved to see some changes. How though, do you ship off Zach who had what - I think career numbers last year... after everything he did here. For his back up who showed well, but not as the leader of the team.

You can extrapolate that across the last two years. MOS has shown he is a don't **** with it if its successful. And to be fair- the last 4 (five) years have been successful. So I hope he starts making some of the necessary changes to right the ship.
