  1. Maybe, but I like to give @Zontar a chance to provide some evidence. If it holds water, I am open to changing my mind.
  2. So... who are we banning? Canadian citizens? Visitors? People going to or coming from? How would you enforce it? Has banning travel been effective in the past? (Hint: it was not).
  3. How would a travel ban help? Is there any other country that has imposed a travel ban?
  4. Nah- when asked for proof, the conversation gets ignored. Still awaiting the evidence of millions of illegals voting.
  5. The specific charges against Clinton were lying under oath and obstruction of justice.
  6. Nice to see this! https://www.wthr.com/article/seymour-teen-honored-raising-money-baby-box-saved-child https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/25/us/teenager-baby-box-newborn-baby-trnd/index.html Good to read about these things!
  7. Well, I don't see how you can know there is no evidence if it's being blocked and not investigated. Sure you are are right about generating more "drama", but you can't say with any amount of certainty that there is no new evidence. "Obstruction of justice, in United States jurisdictions, is a crime consisting of obstructing prosecutors, investigators, or other government officials. Common law jurisdictions other than the United States tend to use the wider offense of perverting the course of justice. Obstruction is a broad crime that may include acts such as perjury, making false statements to officials, witness tampering, jury tampering, destruction of evidence, and many others. Obstruction also applies to overt coercion of court or government officials via the means of threats or actual physical harm, and also applying to deliberate sedition against a court official to undermine the appearance of legitimate authority." And abuse of power may not be technically, a crime , but it sure is an impeachable offence.
  8. Just watched Picard... it is really good. Well written, wonderfully acted and the cinematography is crazy good. I have no qualms about this episode at all. It is very rewarding for fans of ST:TNG and the movies with that crew- lots of fan service without crossing over to be pandering... there is a warm feeling of nostalgia- like picking up and opening a favourite book that you haven't read in forever. This is a return to a Star trek that is cerebral, introspective and asks us to evaluate our moral values. My entire family watched it and to a tee, the all enjoyed it.
  9. Seriously... **** these senators...
  10. The one fact Josh fails to mention in the article - that is a very important difference- is that trump used tax payer money that was approved by congress to leverage political gain- that needs to be addressed. For all the 99% of the other stuff he's done the call shouldn't be an impeachable offense. The Obstruction though... that article is 100% impeachable for the sheer complete stonewalling of all evidence- he should be removed from office for that alone... "Absolute Immuntiy"... GTFO.
  11. Damn... this made international headlines... you know, if spendong a little more money to support a local business is the worst scandal we can come up with on Trudeau for 2020, i am good with that. But seriously... I don't see anything wrong at all with this... regardless of which party this is... I would give sheerer props for this move too...
  12. That case is iron-*******-clad. The obstruction of Justice article alone should be enough to remove him from office- using the traditional standard. You call it a weak case- please explain, I am curious as to why you think this.
  13. It's like he wants to get removed from office... yet the GOP is not letting him... it's surreal. I made the prediction on the day of his election that he would be impeached and removed in 30 months of him taking office... I seem to be wrong- I had no idea the depths of cowardice and lack of honour the GOP have...
  14. A very concise analysis of the Removal trial:
  15. Calling witnesses for the removal trial should be as easy as:
  16. Congress however... was not informed on the strike...
  17. Bob Rae- Ontario can never forgive Bob Rae.
  18. I don't know how politically talented he is- I know that you could have run a Ham Sandwich sans mustard and won against Wynne.
