  1. True- but I don't know of any other party leader who will stand with and defend them- other than scheer. Nor do I see any other party leader elevating known racist in their party to senior staff.
  2. But I am not,I was actually talking about scheerer, but you knew that- yet had to chime in with your faux assumptions. Not sure why that is necessary. I think a less partisian government is a good thing. I also find it insulting that you would characterize me as a gullible mush head. You can stop with the thinly veiled personal attacks- it's insulting and does nothing to further the discourse.
  3. Oh my...
  4. Yeah- that guy just reeks.
  5. I like him even more now.
  6. I Don't think very much to be honest. I mean after we dip him in gold and put him up as a statue on the Blue Bomber altar, i don't think he has much leverage nor the ability to talk...
  7. If you honestly are looking for an answer to these questions, Google would be your best bet.
  8. I guess the silver lining here is that we still control our destiny- we win out, we host western finals.
  9. yeah- that was a pretty dominant win last night- congrats.
  10. That is awesome to see. Thanks for sharing!
  11. First off- We need to upgrade both our coordinators. Right now, all I see is every tom, **** and jane along with their dog are bitching, calling bloody murder, pulling out the torches and pitchforks while the others heat up the tar and collect the feathers, while other posters are starting up the bus and others grabbing the megaphone and shrilly calling for Hall and Lapos heads. What I don't see from the frothing masses (except for @rebusrankin- the dinwiddie suggestion is interesting)? Suggestions. Constructive criticism. People offering up candidates to replace H&L. That's what I would like to see: some suggestions, actual viable candidates would be best.
  12. Cool- thanks for the info. A little off topic- maybe you should start a thread on that- I am sure there are many posters who would like to chime in as well as become more informed.
  13. If you honestly are looking for an answer to these questions, Google would be your best bet.
  14. Thanks. No worries. I was just wondering. I wish I could do more- but it's tough raising a family, that takes up a **** load of my time. I honestly think that the best way to tackle climate change and the other host of issues (Micro-plastics, POPs {huge issue}, marginalized people, and so on) is through government intervention with laws and initiatives.
  15. Totally fair points. Who would you have replaced those two with then? Who was available then? I know you don't have the same resources at finding coordinators as the bombers do- but I am interested if you had anyone in mind.
  16. I fly as little as possible. Flown maybe 2 return trips in the past decade. I have a low mileage vehicle. I would love to purchase a fully electric vehicle, but can't afford it- sobi write to my MLA and MP and councillor to push them towards rebates and tax incentives to make zero emmision vehicles more affordable. I try to source as much food locally as I can. We have reduced our family's intake of beef and pork. Why are you being so confrontational?
  17. Like I said- that is fair criticism, but you still need a D and o coordinator don't You? So based on the fact you need these coordinators who would you replace them with? I would really like your input on that.
  18. I have chosen to have children. I am raising them to be little tree-huggers with purpose. My oldest is graduating this year and is making the transition from a mergers and acquisition lawyer to managing ethical hedge funds that focus on post fossil fuels. and my youngest just entered Kindergarten at a school that is big on teaching environmental sustainability. So hopefully they help make positive changes in their lifetimes due to the indoctrination of being good stewards of the environment.
  19. I disagree- it's better to have mediocre coaches than no coaches at all. To be fair- Lapo and Hall aren't shitty coaches, nor are they incompetent- they are mediocre to above mediocre- just not GREAT coaches.
  20. Yup- Legit question. Furthermore- which two coordinators (any two, regardless if they are taken) would be a best fit for Osh? Best fit in terms of coaching style and desired play style.
  21. I would be very surprised if there was a peaceful transition of power.
  22. I realize this is not the team I (most people) thought they were. we are not a top tier team, more of a upper end of middling team. Going forward, I will still support the team, absolutely root for them- but with no expectations anymore, cuz that is not healthy. Am I wrong in this line of thinking? How about you guys? Are you also having to consciously suppress the involuntary urge to throw your remote through the TV screen screaming "throw the ******* ball!"? Or am I overreacting? Has anyone else changed their expectations of the team recently?
  23. This could be the shortest stint for a Prime Minister:
  24. correct me if I am wrong- They had a lot of success because of timed routes coupled with Max protection- it didn't seem to me that Dane was going through any real read progression, it seemed more like he was counting and placed the ball where the receiver should be at a certain time- with great success.
  25. This has really the opposite intended effect if you choose to throw a quote back at someone- when that person didn't provide the quote. But you're right- there is no need to make it so personal and go with personal attacks either.
