  1. It would be magnitudes more awesome if Zach did that... cuz that has NEVER been the type of thing he would EVER do... but you know he is THAT guy on the inside- buried deep, deep deep deep inside. .
  2. I'm game, set it up!
  3. I can't see the ticats trading away any major pieces. If they start doing the whole sale trades to better their team for next year and beyond (which would be the smart thing to do) that means giving up the season... which no matter how bad it gets... they won't quit on the season where they are hosting the GC... Man- I don't envy their position.
  4. I would love to see that...
  5. After last weeks failure with the refs, CC, and whatever is responsible for dispensing fines... I am wholly expecting them to be making sure to be looking the other way or literally staring at a heinous unnecessary roughness play... and just stare right through the blatant penalty. I have ZERO faith in the officiating.
  6. It was at the 0:28 mark. Feels bad.
  7. And the skinny from our man Tait: Scene setter: The Blue Bombers (7-2) and Stampeders (3-6) reached the midway point of the season last week moving in opposite directions. Winnipeg is on a three-game heater since the shocking collapse in Ottawa, including last week’s 38-29 win in Edmonton in which Dru Brown came off the bench to throw for 300 yards and four TDs – erasing a 22-0 deficit in the process. The Stamps, meanwhile, have lost three of their last four, including last week’s 37-9 mauling by the B.C. Lions. The big news heading into this one is Brown getting the start for Zach Collaros, who did not practice all week. The Basics Kickoff: Friday, 8 p.m. CDT; McMahon Stadium, Calgary TV: TSN; RDS 2 U.S. and international live streaming: https://www.cfl.ca/plus Radio: 680 CJOB Last meeting: July 7, 2023, at IG Field: Winnipeg 24 Calgary 11. Winnipeg has won four straight against the Stamps dating to 2021 and eight of the last 10 meetings. The Blue Bombers are 3-1 on the road this year. Calgary is 1-3 at home this season. PlayNow odds: The Blue Bombers are favoured by six points. For more betting options on this game, click here. 8. So... in street clothes until one of the other QBs gets dinged? Do I remember correctly, that the Bombers during Mike Kelly era actually had one game where all three of their QBs went down?
  9. As soon as I heard "Leggiho in to the wind from the 43"... I was like And the hook left... I was all "Leggioh, you no good!!!"
  10. Its odd, two people in my building (who I don't even know) I struck up a conversation with- all touched upon the heat/fires and both mentioned the words "apocalyptic" and "world is on fire" in regards to the weather. Strange day... strange indeed.
  11. Agreed, when I heard KJ was cut- i was all WTF? That's going to comeback and bite us in the ass.
  12. To be fair... he didn't call him a serial killer based on his looks... he just said he looks like a serial killer in that photo... Now say it with me:
  13. Any scene with Tom Waits is worthy.
  14. Oh man... I can't decide Movie opening: Lord of War Fight Club No Country For Old Men Soooo many... Inglourious Basterds A 20 min opening scene... that is riveting.
  15. Well... if the NDP can't win the provincial election after everything that has happened and what is the political climate... heads gotta roll- it should be a ******* cake walk.
  16. True, when I said "shows well" I should have said continues to play at a high level- he would also have to out perform Zach.
  17. Even to the detriment of the team?
  18. If Dru shows really well... shouldn't we trade Zach to Edmonton and Keep Dru? Can you have a coach/player? I mean have x count towards player cap and y count towards coach cap?
  19. Pfft, whatever- You forget that we fell the mighty LoL'ks.
  20. I expect nothing less from the cons.
  21. What ever, Bomber fatigue or just plain hate- as long as we raise the Cup in November, all will be as it should.
  22. Agreed, the Bomber fatigue is strong across the league. But, man... the Argo and Lions... ugh, I have tired about these two teams since last year's non-stop Rourke-ka-paloose-a-fest, turned 24/7 Betts-bloc-patry-rama, now the Vaj-matastic-gogo-thon-kneebrace edition... and the Dame-doo--whop-bopparama... it non-stop... like we get it... Doman's doing a good job getting interest in the Lions... good. But holy ****... take your head outta their asses for a moment and breathe... And the Argos... GC Champs, 6-0 and still no one gives a **** about them- i legit feel sorry for them, they need all the press they can get...
  23. He's reviled by a few on here, but he is generally considered a Saint by most. He single-handedly saved the Blue Bomber organization, respected among his peers, started so many initiatives for cancer care. And probably one of the greatest presidents and COOs of any organization. Surprised there isn't a statute of him at IG field.
  24. Agreed, not good for us. And **** Chris Jones and the horse he rode in on.
  25. Almost as bad as Lyle Bauer. But that is a whole other level.
