yeah they probably will, and judging by the schedule (and it looks like I may have to go to Celebrations Dinner Theater on the 30th, even though my mother is ecstatic about the Moose returning. but to be honest I am just not feeling the AHL energy I used to, i kind of wish there would be a switch up game where the Moose are playing in Jets uniforms and the moose are playing in jets informs, or switch those shifts or something, and now I'm just babbling)

Well they kind of do UP since the NHL in Winnipeg is a huge thing. I think I can understand how it would make the league more equal, since you said either way 16 teams make the playoffs with two more the league is a little more equal charts wise, but does this mean one team switches conferences? But if push comes to shove who could we afford to lose to one of the expansion teams? I can see this meaning at least one players from each farm team will end up being promoted to the big leagues

Hey Rich, have you other admins ever thought of adding Bomber Game dates to the Calendar on this forum? since it mostly just shows member birthdays maybe it should include dates of Bomber and Jets games

how so? can you explain. You make it sound like the expansion will be good for the jets economy wise (but not so much playoff wise, but then again if the Jets 1.0 and the Thrashers struggled in their first seasons so will the two new teams, and the RedBlacks first season basically proved that expansion teams don't necessarily make the playoffs in the first season (I mean Jets 2.0 did great in their first season, but not great enough to enter the playoffs)

yeah I am retracting that because it's too far (maybe they should just put another arena where the old one used to be, seriously the Winnipeg Arena went down 9 years ago and have they done ANYTHING with that spot?)

yes I know Bettman has become awful chummy with Winnipeg since the team came back (and I bet he's probably thinking why can't Vegas be like Winnipeg? cold as hell, but then again isn't that how the fans in Vegas would treat hockey?)

So the First regular season road game will be against the Bruins, and the first one at home will be against the Flames
