The Dallas Cowboys make a a bit of money too (620 million in 2014) and are worth supposedly 4 Billion dollars but could not afford to build their own stadium (or chose not to). The Bomber are paying a big part of IGF . So when you hear the Bombers are paying down their debt even if it is slowly then I would have to say it is a good thing.

Offensive lineman are often much more cerebral than you might consider. I wish the Bombers are cheap thing will go away. You know who is cheap? The NFL is cheap. The amount of money involved is enormous and still they have to have stadiums built by the taxpayer (notably not the one coming in LA but I wouldn't surprised is somehow that situation changed). How rich the owner/s are really doesn't play into it. Take the example a little closer to home. I am not a hockey guy (never played) but I do know that the Jets will dump their captain to stay under the cap even though one of the owners is one of the richest guys in the world. Just had a thought. It the hockey cap hard or soft like NBA cap which allows teams to go over but pay tax.

Better management does help with improving quality of service but if this is the same company as at stadium opening then you are talking about an enormous company where individual stadiums matter little and our little 30K stadium won't compare to a 75K or 100K stadium.

Am I wrong but wasn't the old stadium concessions controlled by city government and in the new stadium the team has control? I remember thinking that was a positive development at the time from both the potential for quality improvements but also in terms of revenue generation, both of which are of course related.

Salary cup. I can't my head around this. A cup for salary. I don't drink my salary although I know guys who have. Yeah older guys who get paid get cut eventually. Coaches get fired eventually. Now we get to get excited about the next guy/s.
