I wonder if these guys are coming back at a cheaper deal on these one years to push hard for the cup again. Bring Lawler home!

Buck back, MOS back. Pretty good day for all of us.
Riders probably thought they had the best shot in the league at landing Buck.

I dont want them to give up on legs. But I agree with bringing in competition for TC and maybe taking something off his plate during the season.
I'm still confused by how much he struggled with extra points.
I agree,he looked like he 100% redeemed himself after his 55 yarder vs Sask. He made an impressive jump from last year to this year but the wrinkles still came out at the worst possible time. If he gets better like he did from 2021-2022 then we could see a really good Legghio for 2023 but that's a what if,obviously.

I still think it makes sense to let him keep growing, but mostly because who else are you going to get that's close to automatic? If there were a lot of guys out there that fit the bill, every team would have one. So because of that, and the fact that you have one of the best CIS kickers of all time in house, it just makes more sense to let the kid keep progressing. If he can take another leap forward next year as he did this past year then we're in good shape...
I totally agree and yes,if he does make the jump from last year to this year and onto to next year then we should be in great shape but it still feels like a huge risk to wait and see now considering what the kicking did cost us this year.

Would it make sense to keep Legghio for everything but PK and find a solid kicker?

I've yet to watch a replay from the cup since the actual game, read some things but avoiding the highlights has sure helped

Maston hasn't played a game since the 2019 GC and Taylor will be 35 years old soon... unfortunately we may have already seen the last of those two guys
Still won't hurt to bring them back unless we're replacing them with someone who's established

I don’t think they are that far forward mos will probably coach another 10+ years easy. If some one was gonna take over I don’t think it’d Be buck either.
Having every one back would be huge. A bit healthier year add a good vet and maybe a new rookie or two next year and they’ll be back in the cup again.
The same secondary with guys like Lawrence Parker ford and Kramdi getting a bit more seasoning on top of the guys we have will be excellent.
The front with kyrie and a nose sand healthy hansen will be much better too.
a full year of Brady running like he did the back half of the season will be sick.Healthy Maston,Taylor, add a DT and find a kicker

nothing really noteworthy from the Walters presser on right now....
-MOS extension "a work in progress"
-Not aware of any NFL teams that have asked for Bombers players to attend tryouts yet...
Tsn says he signed and then now he hasn't?

I actually think it's a comment about Wade, who has been vocal about not wanting to be in his role too much longer (though I think he wants to put on the greatest GC of all time in '25 before he goes)...
He's only 49,maybe Walters hangs around and becomes Ceo,Oshea moves up to GM and Buck becomes head coach...just a thought.

Wade needs to throw any amount at Walter's. Guy is the best GM in the league and has crushed it for us.

Yes, and he will refer to the 25 year extension as his "Phase two of three" plan...lol
As Mr Burns would say.......EGGSELLENT

You stupid monkey!
It could last 30 years, who knows?!
Osh will still only be in his early 80s and primed for a 25 year extension.

Man the English language is dumb. I am assuming he means re-sign as in new contract. Not resign as in leave. Anyways bring back OSH and more players will follow.
I'm dumb,I'll get Re-signed and resigned mixed up anyways,I just make up my own endings.

I hope Lawler is totally recovered from his late season injury that put him out the rest of the way.....Give him a medical and then talk cash....He might be in someone else's crosshairs in any event....driving up his ask.....Too many variables in his resigning here
What's going to be Lalwers offer this year? He was by far Edmontons best receiver but nowhere near 300k good. Got a feeling Lawler will want to come back and maybe for a discount.

If I had one message for walters... quit signing 30 & older receivers!
Had Ellingson not gotten hurt he'd of been a big exception, we lost some real threat at the time he went down.

Because he made way more than anyone else - not just a little , that is why he left. Unlikely to happen again and he has probably found out it was worth it for a year but not long term to chase the cash
One bad year and your value tanks- even if said year is mostly out of your control.
More term , more stability, more winning and playoff money
Schoen was the only receiver that deserved 300k,not saying Lawler isn't good but Schoen would've definitely been a prime signing for a contract that record breaking.
