how are you guys leaving Hajrullahu out amongst our most outstanding rookies? the kid has been rock solid all season, even when pressed into punting duties. I've seen that affect kickers place kicking in the past, but it hasn't hurt him a bit....

I liked what I saw from Marve in the preseason, and always thought he should have been #2... would be nice to see them split #1 reps over the next couple weeks. Brohm already said he's heading home this week. If Marve sticks back and busts his ass, I can see him supplanting Brohm. Either way... at least the injury happened going in to the bye week. We SHOULD be able to beat Hamilton at home and keep pace for the last playoff spot!

I'll reiterate what a few others have already said... even if we "airlifted" in 4 or 5 NFL cuts, the chances of even one of them playing and making a difference at this point in the season is very low... I disagree if we're talking about an O-Lineman... I think if there's an opportunity to bring in a lineman that can make a difference and help our run game, the brass would be stupid not to. It's our weakest spot. Sure there's going to be a learning curve, but I don't agree that an "airlifted" O-lineman couldn't make a quick impact if he's got the talent!

it would probably take a starting Canadian o-lineman to pry Burris out of Ottawa.... can't really see Taman giving that up. Ottawa has no real need to unload their QB, unless they've got someone down south they're looking at wanting to bring up. They certainly won't be making the playoffs, so unloading Burris isn't totally out of the question. If they can find someone to groom for next season, 6-7 games is a great sample size to decide on for next year!

don't forget about Goltz.... he had a ton of moxie according to Glen Suitor last year!

guys who are capable at best don't get NFL interest and then don't actually make the NFL team who gave them a shot. especially a team that won their division and went to the second round of the playoffs!

whoever made the comment 'why are they showing baseball highlights?' the Jays game was back and forth and went to extras. Oh, and at 8-8 before the game was over, it was higher scoring than this joke of a game. Lowest scoring game since 1979. That might have been a better game to throw in the early Sunday afternoon slot, when most people will be watching NFL.... yikes! Signed, a big CFL fan who doesn't care which teams are playing, but just wants to see a good game. This was anything but!

been looking on the our bombers a few times over the season and noticed that no one is on there anymore.... knew that everyone must have gone somewhere, and yesterday I found this site! been a member for quite a few years, although have never kept up consistently like some of the regulars. have been an avid fan since I was about 12, and have been regularly going to games since the late 90s, almost all since 2001. diehard fan, and glad to have what feels like a winning culture back... it's a different feel on game day, and kudos to the new regime for washing away the stench of the last couple years! We're still in rebuild mode, but at least we're building towards something now... since the Richie days, it's always felt like we were in the same 2-3 year pattern.... hopefully Willy is someone we'll build around for the next 10! I haven't seen that in my lifetime as a Bomber fan!
