Glenn is on pace for 5410 yards and 36 td's. Is he elite? Numbers this early in year mean **** all.. Why are you guys picking on Glenn to try and make Nichols look better? Glenn sucked in grey cup 5 years ago, that makes Nichols better?
-
Agreed.. I'm not here hyping Glenn up. He is adequate at qb and we can win some games with him. We are not a cup contender with him. Could we win the cup with Glenn? Maybe. I guess it could happen. I'm not holding my breath.

We lost 2 also with DD. Went to 3 and won one. Just by off chance our rb set new grey cup rushing record in the one that we won. Just sayin. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Harris to do that -
Nichols ham and egger numbers is the reason the comebacks were necessary. How many times has he blown someone out? Dig that stat up. Elite? Nope

Cusp, is a million miles from doing it. Nichols has played fairly well, nothing more. I have no problem with fans of a team getting excited. That's what we do sometimes, that doesn't make him better than he is. Glenn's numbers are as good this year, facts are facts -

Yup, also said the same about many others. How many of them turn out? Its a crap shoot of sorts. educated guess -

Franklin is a good prospect, no one is sure what he will turn out to be. Not all Rider fans are in love with him. Would I sign him if things work out? Yes. Would I break the bank to sign or trade for him? Nope.. I don't care who the qb is. Its about winning isn't it? Seems to be the main directive from the Nichols defense team, Matt is getting the wins..... -

Maybe Bridge isn't even around this long in the league if he isn't Canadian. -

He was a third round pick by the Stamps. We got him for a fourth rounder. He is brutal in coverage. We got a 5th back in deal. I'm fine with the move, basically give nothing up to get nothing. Adams is a project to look at, I don't expect much. I think this is more about the Riders being done with Bridge. I mentioned this the other day, why was Jones so mad that Bridge took a time count violation with a few seconds left in a blowout win? Obviously more to the storey behind the scenes. either bridge isn't too smart or he isn't running the play that is called from the bench. Something that never goes over well with the coaches. We know you can throw the ball 60 yards Brandon, but can you check down and throw it 8. I liked what I saw of Bridge and wanted him to play more, maybe there was more to the storey -
Can you win with him? Does the team believe in him? Is he making bad plays causing turnovers? Nichols has these three things going for him. DD was never a elite passer, always middle of the road or a bit above stats. In the right situation, Durant could seize the moment and win a big game for you. Even in his prime I don't know that I would ever referred to Durant as a elite qb. Good enough to win with? Absolutely.. Nichols will never be a elite qb on numbers alone, he doesn't throw the long ball well enough to compare with the greats. Can the Bombers maybe win one with him at the controls? It could happen. At this point in time, there is no viable option to replace him with anyone. He is getting the job done and is stringing some good games together. Over time the string will be evaluated against others and he may land higher on the list than I think..

Yes but every time new a new guy comes in, it takes time to gel. Reilly is plugging along like nothing has happened. On a side note, I hope the nice things I'm saying about him cause them to crash and burn in the near future
-
They are missing Walker this year. Bowman out is a huge blow. Oline has been shaky so far. Reilly is running for his life and taking hits. He is still making plays and winning. Injuries to rb's has them not running the ball as well. Lots of holes on a undefeated team, which is a odd thing to say. I think Reilly is just keeping it together.
-
Edmonton is the exception. Reilly is just that good that they are continuing to win in spite of everyone else.
-
They are ripe for the picking I would say. Hopefully they keep it together long enough to beat you guys and we beat them after. As much as I hate the Esks, I wouldn't be heartbroken to see them lose them both
-
This is likely, as much as I hope it won't happen. Really hard to beat anyone two weeks in a row. As a fan however, we need to win all three.
-
We won season series with Lions and did u a favor with the win. I don't care who we beat, I'd just like to see us back in the playoffs. Its just one win, it was nice but it doesn't mean anything. We need to continue to improve. Edmonton won't underestimate the riders in two weeks, that's a big game

BC's line is horrible. We should never have been able to generate the pressure we did in those three man fronts. What was odd was neither Jennings or Lulay showed any grit. I think after Equavon hit Lulay he was hurt.
-
Big win. Punched them right in the face and never looked back. Its professional football boys, you got to show up. We needed that win.
-
It was you. I hope your game plan at labor day isn't us hitting the upright in OT again
-
I see I am one of two people that voted undecided. He is managing mistakes very well. I don't see any numbers that scream elite from him. He is finding a way to win and the boys believe in him. I want to see how long he can carry this on. Time will tell. At this moment he is doing what he needs to do to win.

CFL Headlines @CFL_Headlines Bombers Canadian OL decides to stay after Lions attempt to get him https://goo.gl/fb/Yc9WXV via @JDunk12 #CFL 11:33 AM - Aug 12, 2017 Bombers Canadian OL decides to stay after Lions attempt to get him - 3DownNation Offensive lineman Qadr Spooner turned down the B.C. Lions in order to stay in Winnipeg. The Lions tried to claim the 25-year-old off the practice roster, but he stayed with the Bombers for loyalty... 3downnation.com Replies Retweets likes -
In fairness to you, you are one of the very few who ever said anything nice about him. I was referring to everyone else.
-
Riders need the Bombers to lose today. I don't see it, the cats are just horrible. Only glimmer of hope is a winless team sooner or later wins. As far as us, if you win and we lose its over. If we both lose I guess we are still hanging by a thread. Can't let games slip away when you have a chance to win.

Harris is a interesting storey. I think he is showing huge upside. He doesn't have a very good team to work with. I don't see him as elite but feel he could turn out to be a hell of a qb in this league. Bombers also are interesting in the sense that they need to take a step to beat the top teams but are better than the poor ones right now. Bombers are trending upwards over last season or so
