  1. The post I replied to was from a Tiger cats fan. I was talking about Collaros. Are you new here?
  2. None of you guys ever had anything nice to say about DD when he was a Rider, but yes you are right, he was a leader and could elevate his play in the playoffs. Can Nichols do that? That remains to be seen. I'd hold off on comparing Nichols to Durant for a bit yet.
  3. Ok then, thanks for being honest. Teams can win with less than elite qb's, its been done many times
  4. I would have pulled him at halftime in Calgary game. Likely halftime last week too. I want to see what bridge can do coming off the bench in the games we are going to lose anyway. As far as stats go I'd say he has been what we thought. Glenn also takes every third or fourth game off, nothing new during his career
  5. The only reason the Bombers have won is because of Nichols? Ham and egger numbers on a team that leads the league in turnovers for. Only 10% of people in the pole of your own fans thinks he is a elite qb. I don't need to get back to you, your own fans have spoken
  6. I have a feeling that Chris will be available. But Chris won't want to work for DC money when he can sit on the couch for grand poubah money the riders will still be paying him
  7. I think we all knew what we were getting when we signed Glenn. No one has been hyping him up.. I think we got what we expected so far, and actually a bit more
  8. No way to Saskatoon, wouldn't work, Riders are a provincial thing. Yes to the Maritimes, hell yes. Fairly confident QC could support a team. No to one division. The east teams are joke every year, it would kill the league.
  9. Austin brought him in so it was his poor decision in the first place. Kent is done this year, I don't see how he can still have a job after the mess he has going there. Cats are getting worse every year he is there. Not sure what Kent can do for a encore to top this year
  10. Durant hasn't been any better than Glenn this year. I felt Glenn was a wash for Durant for less money, which is exactly how its been so far. You guys keep laughing at Glenn, his stats are as good as Collaros and Nichols this year. Speaking of qb's, how long till your guy gets axed? I always said he was no good and over rated. You should be more worried about the mess in your own yard instead of looking over the fence. Today would be a good day for him to finally do something
  11. Bottom line, its about winning games. If he wins games he will be back next year. No one really cares a whole lot about the other stuff except when the team is losing
  12. Glenn has played well by his standards. We have all seen enough Kevin Glenn games to know how this will go.
  13. Our biggest problem this year has been coaching.
  14. St John suffered concussion in camp, its possible he still isn't 100%
  15. You are probably right. I'm just saying switches are made in practice from time to time. I don't watch practice everyday so neither of us know if they took every snap that way all week. BUT, you would be correct if they practiced in that formation all week. It comes down to Jones being the smartest guy in the room. Those guys really crash and burn. Making 3 roster moves for one injury is a sign of a team with either no depth or poor coaching. Bladek, Guy and St John are available, so I just see it more as a poor coaching move. Dennis hasn't exactly been lights out at tackle, looks fat and slow. Campbell was the guy we wanted there when we traded for him. Maybe Jones just wants to see what Campbell can do in there.
  16. Good question. He wasn't horrible last year playing guard as a rookie. One can assume he has taken steps forward since then.
  17. I wouldn't be moving Dennis. Bladek plays guard and center. St john played guard last year. Moves in practice mean little. we will see how we line up for our game..
  18. "Many"... No one thinks we are going 5-1 in the next 6. Our season is in serious trouble . Guy and Blazdek both play center, to me that's the logical move
  19. Tillman brought Bowman into the league. Riders traded him because he couldn't catch to the Bombers. If I recall you ended up cutting him outright because he couldn't catch when he played for you either..... I should add that bowman still cant catch to this day, the Esks just don't seem to mind and keep throwing him the ball
  20. I'm a little offended to be honest. Who the hell do they think they are? OK, that's it, we are signing Chris Carter. First father and son receiving duo in football history. Take that Kent
  21. Going after McDuffie wouldn't have made any sense for you guys. Lankford has played well. I really liked him. I guess occasional cement hands is what did him in here. In his current role he has be great. I guess time will tell if he can ever be a starter on offense. McDuffie just isn't reliable enough to be starter catching the ball, which makes how much I would pay him a limited amount. Bombers made the right move by not making a move here. Nothing to gain in this case
  22. I was joking. I'm sure they just got him when they could. Just happened to be now.
  23. I'm sure the timing was considered when he was signed. That guy can run like the wind. Hands always scared me
