You may be looking at draft picks or something, not easy to move someone making 411k . Not that I'm suggesting you guys should trade him, I'm only commenting that it would need to be someone who needed him. Montreal could be another, after they dump Glenn.

If Nichols plays good and Toronto sucks without Ray, you may have a trading partner with the Cheeseburgular. We bought magic beans from him twice this year so be careful. Check obituaries and retirements before trading with him, just sayin.

Is Willy finished? Not at the moment, the second Nichols coughs up a juicy pic-6, Willy will be back. I do believe this will be his final season in Winnipeg.

Tyree Hollins was a rookie last year with us who showed some promise. Came to camp this year and got cut. really surprised no one has looked at him -

I like the idea of starting Nichols to shake things up

I was very concerned about how long Neufeld would play. I think he is done. Can't count on a guy that's never there when you need him. Hardrick played Guard and Tackle here last year and IMHO thought he played pretty well. I would have liked to have seen him back with us this year. He has been your best Lineman this year. Love his enthusiasm too, real team guy. I'd start him at tackle the rest of the way. Goosen has been your worst, not sure who else you guys have to throw in there but something has to give.

Mosiac was rocking. Victory was there for the taking. Loudest that place has been in a long time. I know it doesn't mean much, but felt dam good to win one at home. -
To this day, still surprised by MOS on bench. He was fiery as hell when he played and a good defensive player. Have not seen it as a coach. I keep waiting for him to lose it on the bench and just go postal on somebody. Come on Mike, just snap for once, you'll like it and want to do it again.

You touched on something important. Example... Jennings on riders neg list, Cortez couldn't remember him from the mini camp so he isn't invited to the main camp?? Cortez couldn't remember him?? More like George didn't care because he didn't like rookies anyway and likely knew he wouldn't be with the riders by the time Jennings made it to the team as a starter. People in the position to hurt the team further with poor roster decisions can cause a lot of grief and leave holes in the future roster.

Yup, just the 6 there. last week we had packages with Demski in giving us 3 NI receivers on field. packages with Walter in at RB. Packages with Newman on defense. Campbell played corner in second half after Cox got hurt. ironically I was doubting the Bombers NI's, as I thought Neufeld would get hurt etc.. and you guys were thin. I guess on the rider front I was hoping for a healthy, Best, Labatte and Clark and that St John and McKay would hold down the tackle spot giving us 4 NI on the Oline to start the season. As I have said, key injuries to 3 starting linemen is killing us right now. -

Was surprised and disappointed we cut the Manitoba kid McKay yesterday. I think that is roster juggling, or at least that is what I am hoping. Read he had a good training camp. -

This is St Johns first career start however. He is also a tackle starting at guard so ya we are scrambling. That being said, Josiah played pretty decent last week in relief of labatte when called upon -

St John is starting at Guard for Labatte this week, so looks like all 3 out again. Labatte must have a concussion, but that has no been confirmed by anyone -
Does a blow out at home Thursday get MOS fired?

Some of the coaching staff is on death row, pretty obvious to everyone. Who or when is all that remains to be seen. -

I've been on Jones case lately so not here to defend him. BUT, Clark, Best, and Labatte hurt at the same time is a major blow to the team. Entire interior of Oline out at the same time is tough for any team to over come. Chambers going down doesn't hurt anything as Demski will take his spot and likely never give it up as I believe he is capable of good things. -

Hall and Lapo are the same as what you got, nice guys. MOS needs to grow a set and start getting meaner, this can't pull Drew because it might hurt his feelings crap is getting old. I agree with others, problem is higher up the ladder -

To the thread, no way MOS is getting fired anytime soon. I rarely support a mid season firing, who am I kidding once I turn on the coach I want him gone the next day. What I meant to say was I agree that changing coaches in mid season usually doesn't turn anything around. Mid season GM moves are good ones however, especially when you have a idiot like Taman in charge, get him the f out of there before he trades all your assets away for some magic beans -
Westerman, Posey, Cummings, would be a good start.

Was Willy throwing Darts??

I am happy we got Picton back. Should never have been cut in the first place. U of R Ram

For less money, IMO, Smith is still a rider or at least would have been in camp trying out. He priced himself right out of here and upped expectations elsewhere.
-
100% bang on. Combine that with **** head coaches like Wally and Austin out on the field bitching them out. They are scared to do anything. Refs got to get some balls and make a f'n call, right or wrong, stand by it. And start flagging the coaches when they are out there bitching. Major League umpires don't put up with for long. This is the worst I can ever remember that the officiating has been.
-
I agree with you. Super basic calls you expect to be made in high school football shouldn't have to be challenged IMO. Posey never bobbled the ball at all and clearly had a foot on the ground 3 yards in play. Ref was in great position to make the call. I ask again, WTF are they looking at out there that they can't see that??
-
Smith was dinged up last year pretty much the whole season with one thing or another. I know you guys likely disregard my opinion as sour grapes but durability may be a issue going forward. Second season in the league and has been hurt a lot.
