  1. Excellent synopsis DoD. First time ever...brother in law...froths at mouth...at least it hides his teeth.
  2. Yeah. That 73 yard kick would have been awesome.
  3. Medlock won us many a games last year....and things don't seem to have changed this year. Great money spent on an non national.
  4. I had to look for Haiku definition. This is a neat feature you have started Johnzo. This site is so enjoyable partly because of the original content. Mr.Dee presents "in case you missed it". Others post "Three stars", and a "Happy Honker" with a channeled Cactus Jack. Chat is fun during games. My first taste of expected remarks and probaly one of the most enjoyable, unique, and thoughtful regular game comments are from Do or Die. You guys make this a riveting and sticky bomber fan forum. Thanks Johnzo for building upon the comments. Thanks everyone for all your input.
  5. Montreal #10 Ackie dropped like a rock and is gonna have a headache for a few days. Edmo #5 Van levels him on the TD run. Owie.
  6. My brother in law's teeth, like Freddy Mercury teeth but missing half. His wife, bleeding gum sores with cigar breath and skin rashes in her armpits and behind the knees. A dog pissed on her leg one time, I guess he thought it was a tree, she asked to be excused, she thought it was sweat. My brother n laws wife dental pics. This is all true!
  7. Hey! Your comment gives me a great idea for a new thread! Lol We travel to SK and rent hotel rooms for the weekend as a fambly git tug ether.
  8. This is a true story. My brother in law bet me 20 bucks and gave a 10 point spread for that Grey Cup game. The Bombers beat his spread in that game. He never did pay up. He is a lying welsher. He's a poor parent by not spending enough time with his kids and doesn't want to give them life skills. His wife is the ugliest ****** THING you've ever see. He's is a boarish Rider cheerleader. One Thanksgiving I called him on his childish boosterism and he retreated to another room for the next two days. If he had come out of that room, I would have whooped is ass on the front lawn. He is everything you would expect in a green fan, including the lack of teeth. This is all true!
  9. To be honest fellas. I WAS about to say that the refs uni's were a refreshing change. I WAS going to say, they were nice. Oops. Any one know where a bomber blue camo jersey can be bought? I think it would be good customized with "Kelly", "Reinboldt" or "Mack" on it.
  10. I was at practice this morning. Cold north wind bringing a miserable rain. The squad practiced on the field to the west of the soccer facility, due to IGF being rented for a private event. Players participated using no shoulder pads, but conducted situational drills at a very spirited and vocal pace. There didn't appear to be much difference between the three quarterbacks as each took a regular rotation of plays. If Davis is the second string, I couldn't argue with that. #13 Lefevour is the most physical of the three and seemed to call his own number more so than the others. That might answer who will be getting the short yardage work. Two noticeable D observations. #16 Loffler looks like a real leader in the D back field. #31 Mo was totally active as a full time participant.
  11. Mike, it's like this:
  12. Agree on Oline. Agree on running game. Agree on O. On D, I saw pressure from Westerman a few times, Nevis and ocopogo did well. You'll see them knocking down passes in due time, just like they do in practice. but Franklin is a pretty darn good qb and showed how he created some time for himself. And I agree on Hurl and he makes me want to... .I'm hoping the D isn't as bad as you feel they are and I would also like see the Lb's being less porous.
  13. Lots of good bomber players tonight. Nichols had a great first half though a slow start. 19/24, we'll over 200 yards, no ints, extrapolate those yards and it shows the qb did a fine job Harris was a beast. Davis had a hell of a time taking the snaps in the third. Then he found a groove. What a groove it was. The pass to Washington was a 59 yard gain. I'm not sure how effen far he threw that rock but Christ, to me that pass was the most spectacular play of the game. That ball must have travelled 70 -75 yards in the air and #77 really bust his butt to get under it. The rookie kicker mermaid-briere didn't hurt himself at all. He's no Medlock but he was composed and performed. He had the length, but was wide on 50 yard FG but darn, he has potential. He's far from being an Alex Serna. On special teams #32 Rush made several solid punishing hits. That O.L. Is mean. Well after a play, during a mild scrum, #60 Bond laid a huge vicious forearm to a Edmonton d lineman that sent him back. There was no penalty call but that O.L. Looks like it wants to punish people.
  14. And what is THAT suppose to mean?
  15. Thanks for ruining my day. I'm gonna lose all kinds of sleep that Michael Oshea hasn't used your diagnostics and superbly refined skill to become a leader. Please post more about leadership. Your explanations are enlightenment to the unwashed.
  16. A Masters Degree in leadership? And your post is all in one sentence. Come on, your bullshitin' us, right?
  17. Yes Floyd, you are correct. I could have used a better example. But honestly, I've been bonked in the head too much and can't remember who was a surprising cut this year, but a bum in the dressing room. It was a receiver.... my point is, if big blue is only guessing there are no character flaws, he would have to consider that aspect before leveling the coach.
  18. Mike O'Shea also takes into consideration the players compass. Is this team member going to help the squads focus or hurt it? We already know that the coach whacks guys that are jerks, tardy, don't attend physio and other responsibilities. Maybe the behind scenes behaviors is how we got some surprising cuts. As an example kuale was a ****, and there have been others.
  19. Lemme get this straight. Is it true there is no progressive cut down off the trading camp players this year? That is to say, the cuts and roster reduction will not be made until the final days just before he beginning of the regular season? New rule?
  20. Incredible description of an int play. You described it well so that I was "there".
  21. I like this advice. I know what you mean but occasionally I don't think it's a bad idea to give it to some deserving individual, right in the kisser. Bye the way, what happened to 55iso?
  22. Another #bummyprimate joins the bomber discussion and talks about...you guessed it.
  23. Bombers will surprise a few people this year. I think the last two home games both against the Lions will bring out the fans and as a consequence we will capture 2nd place. That will result in a home playoff game against the...Lions. We will be hating those bastards by that time. Not hating them as much as the greenies from saskabush, but it will be a damn good rivalry. As for the green pond scum, with no legitimate starting qb, they will finish last again. Two wins at the very most. They should also finish last because their fans are bums and primates. Worst sports fans ever. I wanna puke just thinking of their fans. Last night it occurred to me, that I don't hate any sports team. The only two exceptions are: the Edmonton Oilers, hate em, and the slim ball sask football squad and that's only because of the ignorant stupid hillbilly fans. Saw one wearing a frickin green jersey at the Vatican. Complete bone heads with no respect.
