Every one of these fellas would say that individual awards are lesser than the team award and would rather help their squad win the cup. No one could disagree. Good for them if they get to speak publicly about the all star citing. They worked very hard, during games, in practices, watching film, in the gym, year round, and years of perfecting each individual skill. There is a certain sense of achievement that is earned. We've lost three games in the last 12. This past one was not a good performance but there was also a pretty good quarterback on the other team. There is way more stuff that goes in preparation and during a game than to be able to pin a lose on "stubborness". Why is it when we lose, we have to cook up a single to reason blame it on? Hopefully these young dudes learn something by getting caught/suspended. The penalty, being two games, still allows them to practice and be on the sidelines during the games they are serving? Or they are not allowed to be present during practices until after the second game? I like the question. Jets v Kings is scheduled for 1 pm. For the Bombers being a Western playoff game, I'd guess the start time in Ywg is 3 pm. The Kings don't have to play until the Tuesday, so moving the game to noon should have minimal impact on the visiting team. Viewers in LA would be impacted. If the move is workable for the NHL and if TSN with the CFL can accommodate a 4 pm start, Winnipeg sports fans could have the best of both professional sports worlds. Networks appear the issue. I'd like to see both games but if only one be attended, the bomber game is it.

It's a nick name J5V. I think someone called him that when he was first traded to the Bombers. Funny thing is, on Wickipedia his page was quickly updated to reflect he played with the bombers.
