  1. All these terrible GM's are talking about the 2016 football season.
  2. Mr. Dee. Love the effort you've put into what has now become a sought after feature on this forum. Good work and Thank you!
  3. That is solid logic TLB.
  4. Not me. I wish they could rot. They are rider fans. Rider fans very very bad.
  5. My choice for theHappy Honker would be Loffler. An interception which sealed the blowout. That is no where near as eloquent as the forthcoming comments from some our our other gifted posters.
  6. That's a tough one. I'd say because of his physique, Giguere has to be on top.
  7. Mr. Denmark, i am so happy that you are available to play again for our Winnipeg Blue Bomber Football Club. Your return has sparked further hope for some of us fans. Ironically, you are returning on the same night that one of the greatest receivers of all time is being honoured (we spell honoured and coloured with a U in Canada), Into the Ring of Honour. It would be a truly remarkable story if you would score about 7 touchdowns on the same night that our all time greatest receiver is awarded. Then in just a couple years, you will be awarded by being added to the ring of honour. We are pulling for you. your friend Rod Black
  8. Wow we wow wow weeee. Hope he plays like he has something to prove!
  9. That's a Superb depiction Cactus. I mean TB4. Absolute reincarnation!!
  10. I can't impersonate Cactus Jack. He's a legend. One player that might fit is that little feller that covered big schmo receiver on the long pass to the end zone during an incompletion, broke up passing plays, played his first career CFL game, and intercepted an O'Reilly pass late in the game, deep in our zone and took it back to mid field, Fred Freddie Fredrick's.
  11. Forgot about Medlock. 3. Harris for TOP 2. Medlock for doing what he is suppose to do, reliably. 1. Nichols for moving the ball and showing leadership.
  12. Anyone care to channel their best Cactus Jack Wells and Enlighten us fans on the drive home?
  13. I know what your saying. If we say it. Don't hire because, "not a good interview - unsuitable media presence - questionable work ethic etc."
  14. People do change. An absolute discharge is not "not guilty". The facts are he did what he was accused of doing. No criminal record but a police record for a period. Any organization does not have to cut current employees because of considering hiring a guy with a record. The organization has the authority to not hire, pretty much for any reason they want. As mentioned a guy that trades away a Franchise quarterback is possibly a loose cannon. In this fairly moral city, the risk to hire, the blowback, maybe more than would be tolerated by the WFC.
  15. Good observation. Additionally, I've been impressed of what Calgary has done at QB. They used Glenn as a stop gap, but they have seemed to do well with the qb's they have developed. BLM and Tate could probably play for any CFL team. We have Davis, from them. Re: Buono and T.O., 5 of 9 from a common denominator I'd say is significant.
  16. Actually no hard feelings at all. Enjoy yourself.
  17. "A lothesome offensive brute. Yet, I can not look away".
  18. Me too. I don't usually enjoy watching dogs chase their tails, but this time includes watching a head explode.
  19. Parts of this thread have me in stitches.
  20. You want Walters, Miller, OShea, Lapo, the trainers, equipment crew popcorn hawkers, bus drivers and drug addicts all accountable. Yet don't hold yourself to accountability. That's just plain weird.
  21. WBB you nailed it.
  22. Sheesh. You've forgotten what you wrote.
  23. The point I'm making, tracker, is that iso is quick to throw people on a garbage heap if they fail. My comment was a reminder to him of his lack of peace mercy and faith in people. It goes back to feudin' days. It was a shot, to which he replied in a satisfactorily diffused manner. I C Kahari' view of a life not being over after football, should be noted. A commendable post illustrating hope.
  24. And when they can't, they become another wasted life. That's how it works in your world, doesn't it?
  25. In recent CFL history, players faultering badly and finding a new notable life in football has occurred. A part of the Anthony Cavillo career story is how he had one step out the door for a number of seasons before finding his groove in Montreal. He did have to change teams several times to become the record setting qb that he became, but his career was salvaged, blossomed and will result in the HOF placement.
