  1. Turns out there are lots of MBB posters that find the self proclaimed reasonable but factually rank rider fan detestable. “Stupid” would apply. Smh
  2. Your stoic approach is preferred.
  3. Honestly, Suitor likes rider goo all over himself. He prefers the skittles up his derrier. But really good observation and comments.
  4. A different contemptuous blockhead pops up now and then. Attention seeking, even as a reviled loser and ill willed meddler. I remember seeing Sacartgoxz at a bomber game. Pockmarked, eyes too close together dullard he was. That’s my experience.
  5. Your comprehension has failed. Read the title again. And then again if you still don’t get it.
  6. The picture was taken when he was alive.
  7. A resemblance to ol #22 Mr. Billy Clyde Puckett.
  8. Conduct another scientific research study of casual fans and ask them if they want the stadium moved to downtown.
  9. Next thing, the detractors will start complaining about Nichols emulating Vince McMahon as a touchdown celebration.
  10. Geez, chip, just a few of your posts a short while ago you offered, in the context of replacing Nichols, “what’s the worse that could happen?”. Now your accusing Mr. Dee of cliches and you are on record as writing cliches galour. Not only are both of your statements cliches, but fallacy’s as well. I use to like your posts. Just thought I’d point that out and by all means post whatever you are so inclined.
  11. Let’s face it. Your scientific approach is immune to criticism. Not only are you out and about listening to casual fans, you’ve able to identify that your study reveals a consensus that Nichols is boring and not fun to watch. Then your sample size of casual fans additionally always determine and end up hoping that Streveler gets to play soon. Professor, you’ve performed a remarkable task of obtaining hard statistical evidence that reflects exactly what you have been spouting for a over a year.
  12. I’m going to advocate for Matt Nichols. The thread has two questions. 1. The standings after 18 games determines the playoff participants and home files. How a squad moves in the standings is the primary objective of a coach and team. Games won directly affect the standings. Winning is more important than how you win. 2. Passing yards are a result of execution for each passing play. The game plan and then situation determines the coach’s call. As the plays, running, long pass, short pass, etc support the objective. Also situational is field position, and score. On Thursday, the bombers had great field position most of the first three quarters and had substantial leads for most of the game. Passing yards become more meaningful with more games to compare the same position, and has less meaning when measuring team success for the playoff standings.
  13. No complaining from me. We won.
  14. Reilly was in the grasp, ball pops out. Ball popped out while he was in end zone. Yet no two points. Wtf.
  15. In the pre-game, Milt refers to “Duran, the chicken, sorry.”. Cox then does the wing thing. Hilarious. Anyone have a clue how much Stegall and Dunigan get paid to be TSN analysts?
  16. Wood eye! Wood eye? Ok, big nose, big nose.
  17. Players absolutely need to get the message. This is football, not hockey.
  18. Apparently MBB is an acronym for Munch Brunch and Beers? Who knew.
  19. Let’s see. Ottawa’s QB is out of bounds, practically trotting to Quebec and a sidelined SK Henry leans into him. Will SK fans support a suspension on their guy? Stay tuned.
  20. Well sure. An enduring demonstration of the worst kind of fan there is.
  21. A SK fan idea for a post on “How to make friends and influence people” at Morning Big Blue.
  22. Precise observation on what Ambrosie has done here. He is jeopardizing his relationship with the association by vilifying them for performing their duty. His disdain for them is a weakness, in his role. There is no evidence that Ambrosie is insincere in his desire for player safety. He’s implemented an additional bye week, fewer pads at practices. He needs to get the P.A. Involved in a cheap shot strategy which through his animus just made more it more difficult to achieve.
  23. The CFLPA has a duty to represent. They are required by law to represent a grievor even zealously. As far as we know Collaros hasn’t filed grievance for the league not protecting him. ZC is not a party to this dispute. Ambrosie could very easily have picked up the phone, informed the Association what the plan was, discussed it, and sought agreement on the quantum of penalty. He was not obligated to follow this method, but it is prudent. Nothing stops the league and the association from agreeing to penalties for identified infractions, such as substance abuse=Blah blah blah penalty, failing to report=blah blah penalty. The penalty is understood for a defined infraction, in writing, by all parties, and avoid some the cost of the legal proceedings that Ambrosie is writing about. Like the league doesn’t know that cheap shots happen, have happened and will continue to happen?
  24. Mr. Ambrosie would do well to let the players association tend to their business in defending a member that would lose over 10% of his salary. If it were in the neighbourhood of 15 grand, that’s a very hefty fine that would not be given in the case of a conviction for an assault in a criminal case. However, he is standing on the side of angels by advocating safety.
