CFL - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
Rod Black replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I predict O’Rourke will have his helmet split, his head concussed, a broken elbow, both legs bent to unnatural positions and probably at least two ribs pulverized so he is in excruciating pain trying to breath. That would be nice. -
CFL - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread

Nostalgic names of franchises have worked well but that isn’t the only reason, besides pent up demand for a home town sports squad, that resurrected or revival team names have enjoyed some success. Senators, Brewers, Nationals, Browns, Alouettes and a few in our town. Granted, none of these examples are named after a minority group. -
Karma caused the goof to harass Dyce, because he celebrated, and he deserved it. I did not know that.

Kill them all.

Celebrating wins activates the brains reward system, boosting motivation and life satisfaction. Skipping celebrations increases stress and the risk of burnout, harming motivation and well being. Recognizing small wins helps solidify lessons learned, fostering intentional future actions. Celebrating big wins fosters social support, enhancing relationships and feelings of connections. Not my words but words from a brain coach and author. Dyce is entitled to celebrate a win. Being on a team that has fun after a win is a better condition than labouring for a listless, moping, gloomy, miserable, leader.

I know of Dyce and how he behaves as an average citizen. He would watch his sons play football and Dyce never, not once said a word to the boys coach about football or coaching techniques, he was described as a very respectful man, definitely not a hot head or budinski. Considering that Dyce was entitled to be on the sideline, and he believed this was an unauthorized person talking trash to his players, and during that point of the game, a very tense game and the situation during the moment was confusing, as described by many, barking a few words at a “stranger” can be understandable. Bob was in his workplace, and good for him he felt ownership. Somewhat similar is a goofball fan running onto the field and being tackled by a player, because of the stupidity and disruption by an unauthorized person. Terms and conditions on being a fan certainly apply to the unauthorized antagonist as previously stated on all tickets. Dyce did not commit any act of violence. He was in his proper place. Goofball actually travelled - walked to disrupt people going about their business and advanced towards the folks on the bench. I’d say that is more than words, it can be characterized as aggressive and provocative. Bob Dyce actions are easily mitigated. Goofball should be banned.

By its nature, a call by the command center will have an impact on a game. I’d agree that the impact on a game would be due to a goof ball call by the command center. Seems that tonight the command center crew wasn’t pickled, and neither was I. Redblacks challenge on the guy that fell off of Crum in OT, swatted/grabbed his helmet, before the QB was tackled by the second guy and wasn’t called RTP. I’ll guess that is what Dyce was pissed about. Ffs. There must be something in the post you don’t agree with!

After 3, yards offence SK 175. OT 165

Hate to see such an entertaining player go down.

Reading that….made me blow another snot bubble. -
And their reaction will also be part of the deception. O’Shea has this all figured out. That’s why there are closed practices.
-
It’s all a trick. When he decides to really nail one, it will schock the opposition and then we’ll have ‘em right where we want ‘em.

Haven’t seen you read a defence, so… -
You too can choose.
-
I can’t say he isn’t injured but it wouldn’t be a surprise at all should he decide to embellish his right knee. It would be BS if he starts dragging his left knee/leg.

Also never seen before. B.C. Sucks, 4 - 1st downs. Time o’ possession 42 - 18 for the dominant team, the Thunder of The Winnipeg Blue Bombers. B.C. Sucks 102 yards O, the Powerful Commanding Winnipeg Blue Bombers - 430 yards O. Remarkable Attendance - don’t need a rapper to almost sell out. 4 effen sacks by the Mighty Winnipeg Blue Bombers. B.C. Proved they suck.
-
Never seen anything like that ever before. Two guys knocked into next week and neither had the ball. They fall down go BOOM.

Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros
Rod Black replied to Mike's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I wouldn’t. But that chap has potential. However, I’d do Fatty as the second string and let Strevey go nuts as the starter. Brown yes - that wouldn’t happen. Is Gnoche Masoli ever going to play again? He can stay in the Ottawa. -

Didn’t see that coming. Rotflmao -
Classic QB crush.
-
We could crush two HOF QB’s with one Offensive line.
-
Well, it’s an answer! lol it IS a way out of that contract and ZC wifey is from Aurora or somewhere out that way. He is also closer to Steubenville - if any of that stuff matters.
