  1. 1 Nichols. No question. A leader and performer. 2. Harris, huge after catch yards for first down when Nichols was wrapped up in the back field. Dislocated fingers hurt. 3. Bighill. A very big deal that has qb’s doubting. Happy Honker: MISTER Weston Dressler. 10,000 yards receiving milestone. First down in 4th quarter when needed. Like WOW!
  2. And you wonder why your called a troll.
  3. Sue you for not coming across as smart?
  4. Clearly your thinking supports ageism, which is prohibited in defined circumstances by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. But you never have come across as smart.
  5. Cameron! I don’t recall that but it certainly would make perfect sense! Was it Passaglia that use to smoke on the sidelines? Holy crow. West also celebrated at the end of the game and he didn’t have the ball. Appalling!
  6. In ‘88 a .500 record Bomber team went to the Grey Cup and won 22-21 over future Hall of farmer and legendary quarterback for the lions, Matt Dunigan. Winnipeg was missing Chris Walby due to injury. Sean Salisbury, that hadn’t completed 50% of his passes that year. He didn’t even have 2000 yards passing. I remember his post game victory comments. “ I don’t care what my stats were, we just wanted to win...”. His stats were awful. Two intangibles to win, Michael Grey intercepts Dunigan in the end zone, James West whales on him in celebration, and Coach Mike Riley. How did the Blue win that game? I’d say the difference maker was Riley! He don’t need no stinking stats.
  7. No. But I was thinking they are protecting their fragile egos by having a built in excuse and scape goat prompting an “I’m so smart” response, should the Bombers lose at anytime in post season. Id think the admins could tell if they are related. And by golly, that last sign off with “Cheers”, rings a bell somehow.
  8. Kinda like, going to a real blow out party and the sad sacks won’t give up harping on the hosts decision to offer cheese dip. Boring and tiresome.
  9. If the player is having fun, doesn’t get a stupid taunting call, for me it’s all just entertainment. Watching highlight reels of celebrations is a perfectly legitimate “best of...” programming. By golly, it’s even fun getting angry when the other side pisses me off with a celly, but it’s still entertainment.
  10. I’d need to get my head around not having one or both warriors on the team. Now, that you mention it....it’s certainly possible. I’m figuring Weston Dressler may have to pack it in. I’m prepared for that. He takes a heck of a beating.
  11. To be rational and objective, you can’t guarantee anything, and you haven’t denied that your not a bomber fan.
  12. Yes. That is what fans do, and they celebrate great plays in creative ways. I guess your not a bomber fan.
  13. That Shaw guy didn’t even go after Gaitor on the pick six. On two occasions he’d hear footsteps later and drop the ball.
  14. Who’s the best QB playing right now and how many cups have they won? Why would you label it personal?
  15. You don’t have to like my logic. He makes more than you and likes doing it. Good for him. Big money and fun! He doesn’t react and you folks would be saying he doesn’t care. Your getting emotional.
  16. You are unsure of yourself that you feel you need to ridicule a well paid professional quarterback that appropriately celebrates a great play to feel good about yourself!
  17. Eight posts in and you can determine what people are taking personally.
  18. Your grasp of a metaphor is astounding. Yet, I cannot look away.
  19. I’m actually thinking this thread might be bait, to stir up a commotion. I dunno. He never said you said it was swagger. It might surprise you that others have imagination or experience to appreciate and have lots of fun with Nichols play. Your spite of a great play, demonstrated by slagging an expected and harmless celebration confirms your begruding and shallow attitude.
  20. Let’s see, at IGF fans cheered, players hooted and hollered, coaches smacked backs, fans at home high fived, north end crowd went crazy again, Bob Irving even raised his voiced and called it a beautiful pass by MATT NICHOLS. Wtf is wrong with you man? Anyone that celebrates is a ******? Have you ever met anyone that’s had success?
  21. Número uno. Big play Bighill. Spunk, initiative, big plays Numero Dos. Taylor Loffler. Big plays. Big hits. Haven’t seen him play such a complete game this year. Numero Tres. Kevin Fogg. Reliable. Special teams and defense. El bueno, Happy Honker. Senor Matt Nichols....Nichols. Showed leadership. Did what a quarterback has to do to win a big game. Aye carumba. What a beat down! This is the SK squad version of spending the afternoon in a Mexican sweat lodge. Special recognition to the riderfans that fought with each other to get kicked out. You proved who you are, once again.
  22. 1. Matt Nichols, because he bounced back from a funk with 3 TD passes and no ints. 2. Justin Medlock, he was flawless, and scored almost half our points. 3. Andrew Harris, big running yards, leadership, guts, grit, and some fancy acrobatics. Happy Honker goes to Dressler. Clutch and cunning receiver. That goal post thing...woooooo.
  23. The posts focusing on the failures and downplaying success reveal more about the poster than anything about the bombers.
