  1. Oh. Are you referring to the stadium in SK that has a toilet seat as a roof?
  2. Was that the guy that claimed to be at camp and we could meet him as he was in the “white top”?
  3. Of course. Cavillo is venerable. Ray is the quintessential QB in the CFL for the past two decades. But what you’ll really be missing this year is.. https://goo.gl/images/XjZ5dp
  4. Folks, the parties that draw up, advise and agree to wording of the contracts are very well trained, undoubtably experienced, and relate these contracts to accepted language and terminology. The CBA, is a result of agreement between the league and the association. A players contract is between the player and the team, influenced and superseded by CBA. All parties in the Durant/WBBFC dispute are very sophisticated and certainly aware beforehand of the conditions of this signing bonus and consequences of non adherence of the contract. The non advisal of a retirement decision is a pain in the behind. I’d suggest the parties know what they will do to resolve it and probably less flappable than us posters.
  5. Exactly. It’s absurd to support that the 70k is just for an “autograph”. Signing bonus is offset against future earnings. It gets money to player before it’s earned, with the parties agreeing it will be earned. Durant didn’t hold up his portion of deal because he never earned a salary by participating as a player.
  6. Thanks for the under appreciated work on the site. Your efforts are appreciated. It’s a great site!
  7. Quentin Gause #42 is a very thick guy. Broke up a play in his area. Physically solid. Was probably the second heaviest guy out there, behind Goosen. Kind of a nice day within the stadium but windy as heck outside. No Durant, confirmed. Notable on the D, #37 Zavian Bingham dB, played the receivers physically and very tight breaking up plays and got a few cheers from fellow D men. He was mugging L. Washington but Wash still came up with a one handed grab. #45 Chinedu Oparuku good size and appeared eager. #19 Kylie Wilson looks like he’ll be competing for a LB position, focused. #12 not on field but #18 replaced him. Have no idea who #18 is. #16 Tyler Stewart threw the ball the hardest of all four qbs out there. 15 and 13 rounded out the qbs. #13 Nelson looked the most challenged of the qbs. #32 Cierre Wood RB is enthusiastic, fast, and hustles. Might be his schooling. He sure brought it. Receivers, good news bad news. #87 Tony Stevens has presence out there and is going to compete for a job, with Lankford and Washington. #14 Myles White grabbed a long pass and outran a couple dbs for a TD. #12 Adarius Bowman, he’s big, but, oh, hate to say it, he dropped a couple. #44 Prewitt should go home. Disinterested. all numbers on jersey are for mini camp only.
  8. The SK fans won’t argue when you point out that Regina is dump.
  9. Which was exactly the same criteria for success that was used to select Buzz and Boomer.
  10. That’s only the third time I’ve been slightly incontenent while reading a post on MBB.
  11. So wife and I are lounging on a beach in Mexico almost snoring. I’m wearing my W cap. Dude couple of seats over jumps up, points, “Whales”! He’s wearing his green crider paraphernalia. We end up chatting. We get along. He wants to chat football. I tell him there are only two teams in all of sports I just hate. “The Whiney Riders and the Oilers”. Several days go by, he asks, would you wear a Rider T-shirt if I sent you one. I said “no way, I hate them”. He asks, “what if it was free”. I responded, “wouldn’t even wash my car with that. Might burn it though. You wanna give me shirt I’ll just burn?” He couldn’t believe it. He was thinking they, Rider fans, are cute and some kind of likeable group. He asked in four five different ways to have me accept a shirt. I joyfully declined.
  12. A remarkable professional contestant.
  13. In the olden days, a quick anonymous phone call wasn’t as well received.
  14. He played well. Could never figure out how to pronounce his name. He can go. So, I’ll go with Coates.
  15. Lol. Okie dokie!
  16. Do you wipe your bung with weed?
  17. Really? That’s just silly. If I buy 48 automatic weapons, it just means I’m stocking up because I know I’ll use it eventually. Doesn’t mean I’m selling automatic weapons to the neighbourhood kids.
  18. Thornton was always sloshed. Spent three days on the Perimeter Highway before deciding to take a plane.
  19. Sure. A breath of fresh air for Durant. He finds the Bomber team atmosphere uplifting. It’s been done before. The venerable A. Calvillo was still very efficient and valued at ages 37 and 38. D. D. Is no where near the caliber of AC, but my point is, “where there’s dirt, there’s money”.
  20. Salary details haven’t been released which leads to speculation that he wanted to end his career with another grey cup ring. He spent over a decade in a dump at Regina always envious of any opportunity to play in our forested megalopolis, Winnipeg. From Assiniboia to St. Vital, to the St.Pauls, to the Oakbank he has cherished this opportunity to live where we create outstanding garlic sausage, remarkable breads, Jennie’s cakes and Ellmans pickles. It’s an incredible dream great come true. With the Zoo, IGF, professional hockey, and the Big Blue personnel, he views this move as a instant improvement in his quality of life. Hopefully he can contribute to the teams success as he much as receives in benefits.
  21. Ripping down the goalposts. Ah, them’s the days of great fandoms on the field!
  22. Ricky Ray on the Post Game Show between Burris and Duthie...”i’m Still trying to figure out what happened out there...”. Love it! About sums it up for a lot of folks, i’d Guess.
  23. Go Argos. Ray is a consistent performer. Wilder is a beast. BLM is turning into a jerk.
  24. Yes. says me. Did your team use SSK as a model in 2004, 2012?
