  1. It's just a meh exhibition game but damn... it's good to have NHL back on the TV. Not a masterpiece opening 20 at all. Nice to get the opening goal, though!

  4. It's pretty clear who's upset here. You make some claim steeped in hyperbole, it gets challenged, you piss and moan, project, and then run away with your tail between your legs. Classic. It's funny you call others snowflakes.
  5. This topic is not so trivial as you initially seemed to claim. There are a multitude of factors when it comes to reusing a particulate filtration mask like the N95 variety, which is something I learned when I became an OHS member at my workplace back in 2015. Sanitation and contamination are two significant factors that must be considered when reusing masks. The slightest mishandling can result in the mask's efficacy being compromised, either by touching it with contaminated hands, exposure to dust or moisture, or improper donning methods and storage methods. It's not just a matter of rotating them on a daily basis and chucking them in a paper bag until the next use. Also, nobody's offended; we're all here discussing the pandemic.
  6. It's not about being right. But if one were to look at things objectively and rationally since the Jets 2.0 became a thing, the only "stink" surrounding the Winnipeg Jets lately was some white-guilt afflicted whackadoodle crying about the Whiteout Party last spring. It died fast and that was the end of it. Two shitty obscure op-eds from nearly a decade ago by a couple of whiny losers counts for next to nothing, if not nothing at all.
  7. Except it isn't that simple and the link you posted demonstrates just that. Being able to reuse a N95 mask safely goes way beyond necessity.
  8. You must've had to dig pretty deep on Google to find those terrible op-eds. Did you even read them? They're utter trash. So, while some left-leaning opinion pieces from two relatively unknown bloggers whining about some fictitious connection to Harper militarism/jingoism sure do qualify as bitching, they do not even remotely qualify as a movement. And certainly not in the same hemisphere as those wanting to rid sports of racially insensitive team names. This ridiculous narrative you've grabbed onto with the Jets is nowhere near the same as the actual situations regarding the Redskins or the Eskimos. Get a grip on reality.
  9. What bitching or movement, big or small, was there in 2011 opposing the Jets' name when the Thrashers relocated to Winnipeg? The irony of calling others snowflakes while hyperbolically whining about them coming after the local NHL team's name is comical. You're reaching - badly.
  10. Greatest fans in the NHL... What a joke of an organization.
  11. FTFY 😉
  12. Or some fishing gear.
  13. Yes. And eradicate COVID-19.
  14. Should be easier for Trudeau and Morneau to cut the cheque.
  15. And yet, it's happening right now with Trump in office. Fascinating.
  16. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/coronavirus-july-23-covid-19-1.5659882 The US also cracked 1,100 deaths for a second straight day.

  18. Meanwhile, in a rectangle province near you...
  19. Eagles would work well, IMO. But I'm not sure if that would infringe upon any NFL copyright. I mean, the BC Lions exist along with the Detroit Lions...
  20. Just because the majority of people (according to your own anecdotal observation) may be following the rules here doesn't change the fact there are still covidiots sharing the same space. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/march-to-unmask-rally-manitoba-1.5655566 Bit of a slippery slope to advocate for the need to have one's health in his own hands. This self-proclaimed virology expert and economist also claims masks are ineffective. Seems pretty covidiotic to me.
  21. If previous pandemics are any indication, a second wave seems pretty inevitable. It's a real concern that needs to be considered. Hell, some parts of the world haven't even managed to get through the first wave. How is it a bogeyman?
  22. Oh, boy... That is some priceless projection. Who exactly are you "helping" here by trolling threads, mocking and belittling strangers on a forum? Also, not to point out the obvious but you seem pretty triggered when you need to come up such a lame retort as that above, defending your so-called real life nobody asked about or cares about - at all. You seem to be taking something to heart when you feel compelled to go off on such a ridiculous tangent as what's been bolded. Nearly 9,000 posts here but you're worried about others needing to get back to reality. That's some comical shite. Your duty should be to get over yourself.
