  1. Yeah, it's almost like those of us here with the capability of rational thought are offended by your insufferable stupidity in every single post you make. And another thing: COVID-19 is not a flu virus. Use your brain.
  2. Just take your hydroxychloroquine and you'll be fine for when the second wave hits. We have all seen how well you grasp science.
  3. An article from nearly three years ago. Shared from a hard right biased site with questionable factual reporting: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/investors-business-daily/ They got you, idiot.
  4. Kind of a ridiculous oversimplification but okay. FWIW, I think most of the damage has already been done. We're just stuck seeing the bulk of it unfold in the coming century.
  5. https://www.nrdc.org/stories/2070-more-3-billion-people-may-live-outside-human-climate-niche source: https://www.pnas.org/content/early/2020/04/28/1910114117 Of course this is simply a projection based on various factors but it's worth noting 50 years isn't far away. And take it FWIW. NRDC is pretty left biased (https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/natural-resources-defense-council/) but the science posted in this particular article is sound.
  6. https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/vaccine-clinical-trials-1.5580436 So many variables at play but it does seem like we're on the right track with vaccine development.
  7. This looks amazing.
  8. I'd be more concerned about the latter simply due to proximity; fortunately, the Canada-US border remains closed and will remain closed for some time. With Ontario, the NW region our province borders is so sparsely populated from the provincial border pretty much to Sault Ste. Marie, with Thunder Bay being the largest urban area within that region. Relatively speaking, Manitoba is very far away from Ontario's hot zone. So, all that said, neither should be necessarily worrying to Manitobans at this juncture of the pandemic.
  9. He looks like he either has to poop or he's a centaur without the rear part of its body and legs... that also has to poop.
  10. Nothing wrong with practical... Right? Right?
  11. Thursday's word of the day.
  12. Eh, nothing necessarily bad about their pointing out some valid concerns vis a vis off-season changes. Collaros does need to stay healthy and that's probably the biggest unknown for the upcoming season - whenever it'll happen. Mitigating the chances of his getting injured will come down how the new OC builds the offense. Fortunately, there's still the best tailback and OL in the league on the roster, which helps immensely. The losses Sayles and Rose will be felt in the secondary, at least early on until replacements can be found and/or step up in their places. They hit the nail on the head with O'Shea staying, IMO. Having that stability in light of those other changes will be crucial to remaining successful.
  13. I believe the filtration level on these is GC2019, which is excellent.
  14. Some awesome footage of yesterday's fly-by of the Snowbirds as part of Operation Inspiration. Enjoy!
  15. I'll give him credit for heeding the advice of Roussin. Making science-based decisions has helped our province in handling this pandemic.
  16. I guess those were just crocodile tears at his press conference back in March when the **** first hit the fan. He's bungled basically everything since.
  17. An excellent read, to be sure. Thinking about this, it really makes one wonder how the human race would deal with such an event in the modern age, if/when it were to happen.
  18. Actually, it's all of that. An ignorant opinion should be both shouted down and questioned. With the information we have our disposal these days, literally at our very fingertips, there should be no place for ignorance in the world. Decrying those who continue to hold ignorant views, especially those who do so willingly, is more or less a social responsibility. If we as a society hope to advance the virtues of social equality while simultaneously destroying systemic inequality, the voices of reason have to drown out the voices of ignorance. Case in point being this whole pandemic with those who spew falsehoods, misinformation, and conspiracy theorist hyperbole. There is no place for that ****.
  19. Seems like a bit of an OK boomer type of moment for him. It's just a bad look, IMO. The virus wasn't "made" by "greedy bastards" and going vegan won't magically eliminate the spread of viruses. Also, research is ongoing as to exactly how the virus originated. While I don't think it's necessarily racist what he posted (to be clear, it's not my place to determine whether or not it is), it's still extremely ignorant, inflammatory, and irresponsible. His post accomplished nothing of value.
  20. I feel like that win over the Stampeders in the WSF catalyzed the 2019 Blue Bombers in becoming a team of destiny. Something happened in that second half at McMahon Stadium and the boys never looked back. Granted, the WF at IGF West was a nailbiter but I never felt as though they'd lose that game. Even after that ridiculous catch by Moore off Sayles' fingertips... The team dug deep and made the stop. And for the "but the ball hit the upright" BS, the defense had full coverage and that pass by Fajardo wasn't very accurate. The GC was an absolute walloping. The Ti-Cats didn't stand a chance.
  21. Bryan Adams in hot water over xenophobic IG post: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/bryan-adams-instagram-1.5565624 Another clueless celebrity sharing his ignorance on social media.
  22. Except their factual reporting is high, so it isn't fake news. Try again before cherry-picking from a site that's shot down basically any and every source you've ever posted on here.
  23. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/goldman-sachs-official-says-companies-switching-to-zoom-instead-of-business-travel-could-hit-oil-demand-by-up-to-3-million-barrels-per-day-2020-05-07 It's almost like there's a better, less wasteful, more innovative way to do business.
  24. Can't say I'm surprised.
  25. What a ******* disgrace, not only to the presidency but humanity as a whole.
