I'm just happy to see Reaves eat a fist sammich a la Lowry after Evason put him out there late in the game for no good reason. It was priceless when he crumpled to the ice afterward. He's a plug. The apple sure fell far from that tree.

Bottom line: if TNSE wants the fans to show up, make sure the team you've put together shows up. Fans don't want to spend expendable income on an inconsistent product. It's that simple.

I've said it before and will say it again: **** the Wild. No better way to clinch a playoff spot than by embarrassing those turds in front of their fans.

I can't see the team leaving. With profit sharing, broadcasting revenue, sponsorship, merchandise, etc., the brand remains strong as a small market franchise. IIRC, the Jets were valued at $650M as of late last year. Complacency in the front office is another discussion (hockey operations) but the franchise from a business standpoint seems pretty stable.

I'll still go to a game here and there but I'd rather not commit, especially when they poop the bed.

We opted out of our tickets for next season. The group consensus was relief. Tickets are easy to come by now and the product on the ice has been anything but consistent recently. "Mired in Mediocrity" would be a better, more honest slogan.
