  1. Yes. Why even pose such a silly question?
  2. Alright, alright, alright.
  3. Yeah, how dare a young, gifted sniper who went second overall and has scored the 6th most goals in the league since his rookie season want to be put in a position to be his best. How dare he! Garbage commentary and not even worthy of a thread.
  4. I mean, it was the first pre-season game of the pre-season. Don't read too much into it. In Laine news: https://www.tsn.ca/winnipeg-jets-rfa-patrik-laine-there-are-top-lines-and-then-there-is-our-line-1.1366854 Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a line of Laine and Connor on the wings with Scheifele in the middle. But that's not for me to say.
  5. Wow!! What a deal! This is huge.
  6. Jefferson gets fined for hitting Fajardo... @Ripper: the Bombers are dirty and target our QBs! Johnson gets fined for hitting Streveler… **crickets**
  7. Still suffering from a concussion I see... Weird how you ignore the rest of his stat line (1 sack, 1 INT, 1 forced fumble) and the fact the D-line was beefed up to take the pressure off of him - unlike last season.
  8. Well, no ****, Sherlock. Nichols would've won the LDC, a much more difficult game to win, but not the Banjo Bowl (a game he would've started had he been healthy with the offensive gameplan called around his strengths)…? I don't get it. Neither QB has blown the lid off the stats sheet this season, but they don't have to - at least not yet. This team is winning thanks to its collective efforts across all three phases, IMO.
  9. Rod Pedersen is such a turd.
  10. He's busy crusading for Muricans' rights to keep using shitty incandescent light bulbs.
  11. What a win yesterday. I've said it before and I'll proudly say it again: **** the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
  12. Silence on here... Meanwhile, at his residence:
  13. This makes about as much rational sense as when greenies called Ed Gainey the best DB in the league. Well, that sounds like a you problem. What were you expecting to happen when you chime in on here with these diarrhea comments, anyway? Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. It's simple. It's truly a testament to one's intelligence when they call other fans homers while they themselves behave like a homer, make inflammatory comments on the forum of another team, and then attempt to cry foul when the "whole site" teams up on them while lamenting some fictitious agenda against their team. And please, do cite your evidence to support the claim Riders' QB take a "lot of head shots" from the Bombers. It's hilarious how that's your response to @Booch's using actual statistics to refute your ignorant statement that the Bombers' secondary is the worst in the CFL. I'm starting to wonder: did Lavar Edwards lay a dirty hit on you recently?
  14. I have no idea. https://leburgerweek.com/restaurant/nite-hawk-cafe/view I doubt it. ManyFest is a separate event altogether.

  16. But the offense did score, getting the go-ahead major with just under four minutes left in the 4th. The defense then let the Riders' offense march down the field 87 yards to get in range for the winning FG. Why are you deflecting?
  17. What's next, fire the QB coach because Reilly isn't playing up to par...? Hervey is an idiot who thought he could buy a contender.
  18. Fun with Sharpies!
  19. I had The Tom at Nite Hawk Café in West Hawk this past weekend. It was a slopfest but mighty tasty. Paired great with their thick cut fries and the Pale Ale I had back at the cabin.
  20. How do you figure?
  21. I think he has the tools but how far he decides to go with them is up to him. I think his passing looked better yesterday than it did a week previous, but I'm not sure if that's saying much. His TD dart to Lawler was really nice. However, he seems very uncomfortable in the pocket at times, either rushing his reads or not making them. That seems like a coachable thing upon which he can and should improve, so I'm willing to give him time to continue polishing that particular skill. I'm sure it also didn't help having a rookie RB in the backfield with him, either. Not that it's a knock on Augustine, who I thought had a pretty good outing, but he's no Harris (which I'm sure goes without saying) as far as overall skillset goes. All that said, I think Streveler does have what it takes to be a very good QB in this league. But how he's being deployed is a headscratcher sometimes. And therefore, I also find myself in the camp of what's up with the system/play-calling. I don't feel like the personnel is being used its collective strength, including but not limited to, the QB. LaPolice needs to look at what he can change, IMO.
