  1. That was a given at the end of the third quarter. The offense wasn't doing anything and the defense was starting to falter. Too many squandered opportunities in the first half led to the better team pulling away in the second.
  2. Well, ya shouldn't. What was so good about his performance last night? Below 60% comp., barely over 200 yards, one major and a pick. That's not better than his previous week, either. In fact, it's worse (above 70% comp., 270 yards)... But why let statistics get in the way of an opinion, right? The Riders' defense is what's carrying that team.
  3. Adams admitted he needs to be better. A number of players on offense need to be better, not just the QB.
  4. When did he criticize the fans?
  5. What about this season? What's with all the long pass attempts lately? That **** clearly isn't working, so why do it? Why not go back to what worked in the past? Nichols needs to be way better in his execution but the play-calling lately has been utter trash.
  6. Good gravy... LOL To suggest Streveler is some mystery commodity to the point he'd be a "nightmare" for opposing defences because of his running ability is highly debatable. The Ti-Cats easily held him in check the last time he started a game. Teams have film on him now and are well aware of what he brings to be table. Does Nichols need to be better? Yes, absolutely. Along with several others on both sides of the ball (the hogs had an awful game last week and it's time to part ways with Lankford). Does Streveler starting give this team a better chance to win? No, and especially if the gameplan on offense stays the same.
  7. Good for you. You can read.
  8. Well, that's pretty absurd and presumably an overreaction based solely on Friday's loss. A loss in which there was ample blame to go around the locker room, not just the QB.
  9. But he's an INT. Rice has a passport to his benefit.
  10. A flatbilly saying this about another fanbase...? Oh, the utter richness. Oh, and one more thing: everyone here save TheSource (who's clearly challenged, so he gets a pass) sees through the woefully transparent insincerity of your comments. You shouldn't be here.
  11. That's like asking where all the unicorns are.
  12. Pretty sure it's 3RD & 1 from Riderfans.
  13. Yeah, in Omaha working at a Cinnabon.
  14. The other forum...? Well, that's a lie. Just stay in the bush.
  15. I must say, those royals and gold helmets look just stunning on TV.
  16. I can't believe anyone thinks the Bombers should go after this narcissistic man-child. His steaming pile of baggage more than outweighs whatever talent he brings to the table. What a dumpster fire in the rectangle province. Good on Jones using Carter as a scapegoat; all the green fanboys drink it up while turning a blind eye to his atrocious management skills. What a time to be alive.
  17. Hogtied... Please. He's had weapons on his defense for a while now (try going back to 2016) and while the addition of Bighill has been absolutely massive, Hall's system is still questionable at times and his ability to make adjustments also leaves something to be desired at times. He's a pretty decent to good DC whose system thrives when it has the right personnel. But so does any other system, so that's a moot point. And no, Winnipeg wasn't ready to toss O'Shea. His first two seasons were rough but that was to be expected and anyone expecting a quick fix from the smouldering rubble left behind was kidding themselves. And that loyalty to Willy nonsense is just... well, nonsense. When any team struggles it's more often than not due to a lack of talent, especially a lack of talent at key positions. Any flatbilly should be able to appreciate that.
  18. Bit of a misleading stat when you consider the Bombers were in the East up until the 2014 season.
  19. Definitely. It's a "pressure by committee" sort of thing and it's been working damn well.
  20. Four Bombers round out the top 15 D-linemen in terms of QB pressure:
  21. Vanstone and McCormick, who both write for the Regina Leader-Post, come across as pretty even keeled in their articles. Both easily put Nye and Pederson to shame, but especially the latter.
  22. And Walters' statement on the matter:
  23. The salary cap for the 2018 season is $5.2M with a $4.6M cap floor.
