  1. Good. What an idiot.
  2. Playing a better team than in rounds 1 & 2. The Capitals are looking really good since finally beating the Penguins.
  3. His petulant retaliatory behaviour on Twitter the last two days is actually sickening. There's no defending or justifying what he's done. You're done with football...? That's fine. But show some goddamned class and be a ******* man about it. What kind of self-respecting professional athlete bails on the one team who gave you the opportunity to continue your CFL career, greedily keep money you absolutely don't deserve, and then proceed to take childish digs at that very team...? What a pathetic, disgraceful, *****-made piece of ****.
  4. Yep. He's an absolute coward.
  5. And of course that money's down the crapper, eh? And then this... If true, absolutely ******' greasy.
  6. Absolutely baffling. And pretty poor timing. All the best in your retirement, DD... But seriously, thanks for nothing.
  7. As is the entire fanbase, myself included. This has been a great time to be a Jets fan. I'm still nervous for tonight's game, though.
  8. I'm not nervous. You're nervous.
  9. They were speaking in another language amongst themselves. That shouldn't trigger a rational person to lose their mind and go off like she did. There is absolutely no justification at all for her what she said and did. What a disgraceful human being.
  10. And then got absolutely manhandled by a superior, balanced team. Get over yourself, Mikey. You suck.
  11. Pretty sure this game is going to be unreal: Absolutely unreal.
  12. I thought the same until actually seeing its horrifying visage. In actuality, Simmons created this demon based on Inuit mythology, which is heavily rooted in shamanism and reverence of animals. So, the Tuunbaq's appearance fits those parameters. Monday's episode really set the tone for how frightening a creature it is, IMO. It seems pretty much invincible.
  13. It's based on a book of the same name written by Dan Simmons. The series, as with the novel, is a fictionalized account of what happened to the Franklin Expedition in its attempt to traverse the Northwest Passage. The supernatural element is merely one part of what these men have to endure in their attempts to survive the Arctic and its perils. And really, all one need do is replace the Tuunbaq with an actual polar bear to eliminate the supernatural aspect.
  14. Oh, you're spot on. He's a bitter old sack of ****. How he maintains employment is truly mystifying.
  15. Based on the way the Predators shut it down all 90s Devils style after the Hartman goal (which itself epitomized the Jets' game last night, IMO), I'm not even remotely convinced a single player change to the line-up would've made a difference. The Jets were simply off last night, didn't rise to the occasion, and lost a tight game.
  16. Anybody catch the first season of McMafia on AMC? Really good series and I can't wait for season 2.
  17. If only the Jets had taken advantage last night. Instead, they were flat, dull, and lacked any urgency whatsoever. A really uncharacteristic game, IMO. Rinne was dialed in, too.
  18. Best game of the playoffs so far...? Holy Christmas.
  19. Lamoriello won't return as Leafs GM: https://www.tsn.ca/lamoriello-will-not-return-as-leafs-gm-1.1072178
  20. I saw that on FB the other morning. It was disgusting.
  21. Yeah, that pinch in double overtime wasn't costly all... He had a rough outing last night, so why keep defending him? Anyway, the Jets come home having stole home ice advantage in this series with the split. They're in a great position to take over this series.
  22. A used jock...? Because a pox on the U of M.
  23. Great read from Seravalli: https://www.tsn.ca/how-the-jets-grew-to-be-stanley-cup-contenders-1.1069834 And handful of great quotes:
