  1. Strictly regulation wins or ROW?
  2. Eh... WPG: 30-7-2, MIN: 27-6-8 The Wild have more loser points on home ice but the Jets have more wins. Both teams have accumulated 62 points on home ice but the Jets have two more home games left to play. Statistically, the Jets have the better home record (.769 > .658 [win %]).
  3. Wasn't it called a good goal on the ice and then overturned after the coach's challenge?
  4. No, he wasn't. The numbers indicate as much.

  7. Les Quebecois are assholes...? Nah...
  8. Connor with the another OT winner! And his 30th of the season!!!
  9. Tanev takes a high stake, Mason gets bulldozed into the net... But yes, let's penalize Byfuglien for a tap on the leg.
  10. Habs tie it up and then Niku gets his first NHL goal!!!
  11. Habs get a grimy one and are back in this game... Shades of last night.
  12. Are you watching the game? Price is in net for the Habs. He's already made two beauty saves.
  13. How MLB shakes out is my biggest concern. I'm still worried about the defense giving up big yards through the air. Fenner is a very good addition, though. On the D-line, Westerman is a loss but I expect Jeffcoat, Okpalaugo, and Roh to carry the load; here's hoping Ekakitie takes the next step and becomes an impactful asset on the interior. On the other side of the ball, I think the offense has improved even with the loss of Bond on the O-line. Bowman alone is a massive addition to the air attack and if Demski or Wolitarsky can take that next step, all the better. I'm also hopeful we see more from Coates this season. ST will continue to be consistent and a strong phase of this team. I also expect Medlock, who's been relied on a ton the last two seasons, to be better and fresher with a lessened workload (based on an offense that should be able to move the ball more easily and with increased production). Just my two pennies.
  14. It was painful. Put up a three-goal lead... And then it's just a collective "hey, let's stop skating and let this dumpster fire of a team crawl back into the game!" I'm hopeful it's just an aberration on account of being distracted by the upcoming post-season but cripes, there were a lot of bad habits of old they allowed to creep back into their game last night.
  15. I noticed Matthews defend against Laine pretty well at least once or twice the other night. Marner and Nylander aren't two-way players, though. Not yet. One could probably make a similar argument for the Jets with Hellebuyck (even though the depth at forward and defense is better) but seriously... where would the Leafs be right now without Andersen?
  16. "Canada's hope for a cup..." Shut up, Jim. It's bad enough listening to you whenever the Leafs play on HNIC. This narrative the media continues to trot around about bringing the Stanley Cup "home" is utterly ******* asinine. Great win in Toronto the other night. The visitors did a hell of a job shutting down the Leafs in the final frame. Solid bounceback after the bed-shitting in Chicago.
  17. It's time. Good news for the organization.
  18. Anyone catch the first two episodes of The Terror on AMC this past Monday? Wowzers.
  19. Meh, not really. He was drafted in the 6th round back in 2012 and could barely hack it as a bottom 6 in the AHL (and IIRC, he's never played a regular season game in the NHL). He clearly thinks too highly of himself if he think he's a "professional" hockey player. He can't even carry himself in public as an amateur human being. I'm just glad this stinky turd isn't part of the Jets organization anymore.
  20. And? The Jets still put up 6 goals on the Avs. In two home games vs. COL, the Jets outscored their opponent 9-1. MacKinnon probably helps their cause but not enough for them to win.
  21. A win tomorrow and the Jets would tie their franchise record winning streak of 7 games.
  22. Morrissey off the hook: http://winnipegsun.com/sports/hockey/nhl/winnipeg-jets/jets-morrissey-off-the-hook Should be some serious massbleed coming out of New England today.
