I don't know about that. Until that disastrous first power play where the entire team just hit the rocks, Hutchinson had played pretty well. Prior the Jets going on that power play, the SOG were 12-0 for the Predators (IIRC). I'm not making excuses for him but there's a ton of blame to go around on those two SH goals allowed in roughly half a minute.

First 10 or so minutes aside, the Jets played pretty well. That first power play was putrid and maybe one of the worst I've ever seen. I'm still amazed they kept as it close as they did considering who didn't play.

It was his first game in two months. He played 10 shifts for a total ice-time of 7:22, getting 1 SOG and winning 3/5 face-offs.

The world has lost one of the most brilliant minds ever. On Pi Day and on Einstein's birthday. Rest In Peace.

Not that creative. I'm admittedly salty over this game. Laine keeps his point streak alive with an apple on Connor's goal.

I find that hard to believe but I honestly don't have a clue. 82 games for 31 teams must be pretty tough to put together. In any event, back to back games suck and I'd prefer not to have them.

The Predators haven't played since Saturday. The Jets, banged up all to hell, just came off another pretty gruelling battle and fought tooth and nail for a loser point. Now, they have to take on a well-rested team on its home ice. This game tomorrow scares the bejesus outta me.

The best player in a Jets jersey by far... Again. He made some incredible saves tonight.

I can't see him fitting into the Jets' future plans simply based on the salary cap and the fact the team has a number of upcoming free agents to re-sign. Little's 6-year extension which kicks in starting next season is one particularly large factor, IMO.
