  1. http://winnipegsun.com/sports/football/cfl/winnipeg-bluebombers/signing-all-three-of-randle-heath-and-leggett-will-be-tall-order-for-bombers I'd hate to lose any of them.
  2. And then Falk went after Kane. Man, the Sabres are a train wreck.
  3. And Captain McSaviour seems to be getting upset with losing constantly this season: https://www.tsn.ca/mcdavid-nhl-should-lose-offside-challenges-1.964019

  7. Gotta stay hot and win these divisional games.
  8. It's absolutely overblown. This is what happens nowadays with social media, so you'd think a team's media affiliate would understand that and avoid the controversy altogether. I get the cold and dark comments. Pretty much every Canadian NHL city outside of Vancouver is cold and dark in the dead of winter, though. Winnipeg is a small market, but so is Ottawa, Calgary, and Edmonton. Players visit these locations to play a hockey game; that's it. They still get the VIP treatment with chartered flights, fancy hotels, etc. Was this some lame attempt at humour? Probably. I just don't understand why NBC Sports Sharks' Twitter feed had to even the question, especially during training camp and then post it on social the day before playing here. The focus should be on what the players are paid to do: play hockey. And Sharks' GM Doug Wilson wasn't too pleased based on his comments yesterday: http://awfulannouncing.com/nhl/sharks-gm-doug-wilson-nbc-sports-bay-area.html Could either hotel be described as sketchy? I highly doubt it.
  9. And that's a Buffalo sweep! Fun fact: last time the Jets swept the Sabres, they made the playoffs.
  10. If the teams plays tighter in the defensive zone, neither of those goals likely happen.
  11. 2 PPGs allowed. And now the Jets are playing like loose turds in their own end... And go figure, two shitty goals allowed. This is what complacency looks like.
  12. Yeah, because he's been so terrible tonight, right...?
  13. Jets gotta get it together here late. Can't hang Mason out to dry here and let the Sabres hang around.
  14. Eh, baby steps. No way he takes Hendrick's spot as 4C. And keep in mind lines aren't set in stone.
  15. He wasn't traded to the Riders.
  16. Why? Roslovic is a C.
  17. ...until you lose and someone dumps a truckload of manure onto your lawn.
  18. Confidence is contagious and the entire team seems to be playing with it lately, much like we saw for most of October and basically all of November. Currently top 3 in GFPG, top 10 in GAPG, and tied for 1st in FO win %... Quality.
  19. But that would be an insult to roadkill.
  20. Neither Lobendahn nor Simpson would require being insulated in some unorthodox scheme. They both know how to be effective at MLB, which certainly can't be sad for Hurl. And to answer your question, it's the latter. Unequivocally. Hurl is not a starting calibre MLB and that was made apparent in 2015.
  21. https://www.tsn.ca/three-sharks-name-winnipeg-worst-city-to-visit-1.962684 Buncha soft, whiny plugs.
  22. Yes, I know. But it's still weird to see how often they give up such high quality chances in OT considering how well they play 5-on-5. And some of the personnel decisions leave me scratching my head.
  23. I'm not sure I follow. Are you blaming Walters for his draft selections...?
  24. We'll never know for certain but Occam's Razor seems pretty effective in this case. If the plan is to stick with Hall this upcoming season, what I do know is Walters had better sign a MLB capable of playing the goddamned position.
