  1. Sure, but it isn't like line rushes from practice mean they're set in stone. Maurice does tend to juggle his lines, anyway. So, let's wait and see before losing our heads.
  2. Yeah, that Armia sure can't score, eh.
  3. Coldest Christmas in 21 years. I don't mind December cold, but -29 for a high is nasty (that's about twice as cold as the seasonal norm).
  4. Man, that's a big loss down the middle. The boys really need to rally tomorrow and exact some revenge on the Islanders.
  5. In his defense, Stronson is president of the green fanboys club... and a complete tool.
  6. Sure we do. Look at Loffler's rookie season in 2016. When the defense had a capable MLB who didn't require consistent help and the need to be insulated, the safety was able to better do his job and stick to his assignments.
  7. That's a damn shame. A pox on this disgusting cold snap!
  8. I'd give Roslovic a shot, but maybe as 3C moving Little to 1C and Perreault to 2C - at least to start. Fortunately, the forward depth is plentiful and so are the options for Maurice. A gritty win and by no means a masterpiece last night. Lots of turkey legs to start the game and that shorty on Trouba's error was rough. But they boys got it together and earned an important win. Scheifele's loss is concerning, especially if he's out long-term. Sidenote: impressive how the only penalty the Jets took last night was a chintzy bench minor for too many men. Clean hockey goes a long way. And an honourable mention to both Bryan Little for his franchise leading 710th game played (and a key equalizer early on) as well as Wheeler's franchise leading assist last night. Two heart and soul players, IMO.
  9. Solid win over Slovakia last night. A little dicey when Bean went down and missed some time, especially with Clague already out. But it was good he returned to action last night. Blue line needs to be healthy for tomorrow's outdoor tilt.
  10. http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/what-to-expect-space-2018-1.4456510 Another exciting year ahead for star gazers!
  11. An okay win overall yesterday. Canada took way too many bad penalties, though. That lack of discipline can't become a habit, especially against stronger opponents.
  12. The Moose are on an absolute tear lately. TNSE must be ecstatic to see their teams firing on all cylinders this season.
  13. He was excellent in both 2014 and 2015, so the potential remains to build off that success. It'll depend on his situation and environment. I take exception with the assertion the Riders would "run the table" if he were to sign there, though. That's bloody preposterous.
  14. Leading by example each and every night. Exactly how a captain captains! A solid road game overall last night; just shitty it had to end in a skills competition. A tight game through 60 and OT was very entertaining.
  15. The Riders are a Zach Collaros away from "running the table" next season...?
  16. Nobody else wanted him. So, off to the land of misfit toys, otherwise known as Jonestown.
  17. I am behind this idea 150,000%. I don't ever want to see CFL expansion into the US again.
  18. Nah, no kung fu masters dodging bullets in this world.
  19. If St. Laurent and his crew do their damn job from the opening faceoff, that greasy crap is likely mitigated way before it gets out of hand. Byfuglien in the lineup would've been nice but I worry about what might have happened had he been, especially considering the officiating crew. While I'm never happy about players taking liberties with opponents, all it did last night was hinder the aggressors. If the Spaceys want to play like that in important games and not continue doing what's made the successful, let 'em. It'll reflect in the standings negatively sooner than later. Most importantly, the Jets didn't bite and stuck to their game-plan, which is a sign of a team maturing. I doubt the same would've happened in previous seasons.
  20. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/trudeau-ethics-aga-khan-1.4458220 King Justin is sorry, y'all!
  21. Meh, the Jets didn't take the bait on the antics of Subban or Weber. Good on 'em, IMO. They focused on what mattered: getting two points and serving up a big juicy L to those piss yellow clad goons.
  22. I was referring more to the complete lack of CFL experience for either of them.
  23. I believe it was Dave Poulin alongside Beyak last night. And his honesty is pretty refreshing, IMO. The officiating was a disaster last night.
