  1. Sorry your sense of humour is lacking and I offended your delicate sensibility.
  2. Trevor Harris...? The same Trevor Harris who put up just 263 yards when the Bombers played the RedBlacks in Ottawa in early August?
  3. Sure, but then another starter's been out on the one side. The Bombers have yet to field its optimal secondary unit this season (Walker - Alexander - Loffler - Heath - Randle). Hopefully, that changes after the bye week and the secondary play improves as a result.
  4. Toughest game by far will be in Edmonton. I can't see the RedBlacks or the Ti-Cats being too much of a threat at IGF in the coming weeks. No doubt the Bombers will have to be at their best but home field is proving advantageous for them these days.
  5. No, he didn't. Rogers' left foot makes contact with Adams' right foot, causing him to lose his balance and trip.
  6. And it also explains why Jones didn't challenge it. Both angles on the TV broadcast show Rogers' foot making contact with Adams' and that's what causes the latter to lose his footing on the play. Nothing phantom about it.
  7. Wasn't phantom PI on Rogers late in the second quarter. Rogers' left foot makes contact with Adams' right foot. The official got the call right.
  8. I guess you didn't watch the game. He also had a rushing play for 12 yards and 2 kickoff returns for 50 yards. 85 combined yards and a score... Keep whining about him being in the lineup, though.
  9. That's been the achilles heel of the defense this season: costly big plays allowed, particularly through the air. Clean that up and the defense doesn't look half as bad, IMO A rotating secondary hasn't helped, either due to injuries or rookie inexperience.
  10. No, that wasn't it. Stay classy, though.
  11. Then why have I heard other head officials (Bradbury, Valessi, etc.) call it incidental PI...? Yesterday was the first I've heard it called accidental PI.
  12. "Turd down and tree and turdy tree yard line."
  13. Isn't the proper term supposed to be incidental contact...? If a defender trips up a receiver attempting to make a catch, it's a flag every time. In the case of incidental PI, it's either 10 yards or half to the distance to the goal line.
  14. Wow, someone's bitter. I mean, when no other team bothered to bring you in for a look, what does that say?
  15. So glad Fort Hew was defended yesterday. Flatbillies have crawled back under their bridges and I couldn't be happier about it.
  16. They are...? 2 pts. behind the Lions with a game in hand... I also don't see why the Riders would trade for Davis, much less for a solid NAT MLB.
  17. He's been pretty meh for some time now. He looked out of sorts last night.
  18. O'Shea being "underhanded" again, without a doubt.
  19. Bahahaha....
  20. But this most recent injury has nothing to do with that. It's a broken wrist.
  21. https://www.cfl.ca/players/ian-wild/159663/ He played 29 games in his first two seasons, played 6 when he returned here in Sep. 2015, played 12 last season, and then played 2 this season until he broke his wrist (which is an injury anyone could suffer). 49 GP over the course of his career in the CFL (less than 5 full seasons).
  22. post-LDC records during that span: 2005: 2-5, 2006: 4-3, 2007: 5-4, 2008: 6-3, 2009: 4-4, 2010: 2-7, 2011: 3-6, 2012: 4-5, 2013: 2-7, 2014: 1-8, 2015: 2-6 As you can see, there isn't really a correlation with respect to one game and how it affects the remaining balance of the season. Bear in mind the Bombers have fielded some pretty craptastic teams in that time.
  23. An improved, more consistent pass rush would be a start, IMO. Especially when defending on 2nd & long.
  24. You're a beauty. Thanks for doing the legwork on that! Clearly, the defense needs to be much, much better. Especially in this second half of the season and into the playoffs.
  25. Pretty obvious there wasn't another body at the ready. Unfortunate recruiting.
