Classy move by Carter giving that game ball to the young girl. (never thought I'd call him classy)

Immensely talented, but a complete plug who's all about himself.

What would it take to fire a coordinator?
blue_gold_84 replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
What did the Als do any better to "deserve" the win? The fact is this: the Bombers got the win. How they did it was not a pretty effort but two points are two points. The end result is what matters here. You still haven't explained why you agree with that plug Wiecek or why you now feel O'Shea is hated and has a bad attitude. -

No offense but this is terribly ignorant comment. To suggest the team played badly the entire game save 1:40 is flat out untrue and then to bring up Wiecek's dumpster article to justify your claim O'Shea is easy to hate and has a bad attitude is utterly embarrassing on your part. Get a clue. -
Should anyone be surprised at a head coach - one who also happens to be a HOFer after an amazing career as a player - who seemingly "talks down" to clueless writers who ask him dumb questions all the time...? Put yourself in O'Shea's shoes. It's like the kid who repeatedly asks why over and over, no matter what you tell them. That crap gets old quick and the fact of the matter is O'Shea doesn't owe Wiecek a damn thing, much less a "humble" talking point. Wiecek has been bitter for years in his columns, so maybe he should take a look at himself before casting judgement directed at someone who's accomplished way more than he has. There is no defense - none - for dumping on someone for wearing shorts or having a "smirk" on his face on the sidelines.

Apparently, Patti and Paul are cut from the same cloth: a dirty, rancid, stinky rag, the likes of which not even Jabba the Hutt would use to clean his muddy bunghole.
-
I wonder if he'd dump on Buono for the shoddy attendance numbers at BC Place if he were situated out in Vancouver. The fact he uses the angry rants of his reader base really speaks to how much of a bitter turd he is. He basically has to resort to attacking O'Shea to frame his argument. It doesn't get more pathetic than that.

41-40, (42-43), 33-25, 43-40 What's going on?

Or just have its officials do a better job at what they call. The amount of weird and chintzy penalties so far this season is unbelievable. -

On every major call...? I think you're sucking back on too much tainted Pilsner if you believe that. The officiating has been a disaster every game, so to suggest one team has benefitted from it more than any other is flat out absurd. And just to be clear: your joke of a team has dug its own grave. If you need to rely on other teams to lose when yours is sitting idle, your team obviously stinks.

That's the problem with social media nowadays. Anyone can spew whatever nonsense they want and call it their opinion. That doesn't make it correct or accurate, though. Social media has basically become a sounding board for the moronic.

Spiked on the convert.

Talk about snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. What a finish. Even though this goes without saying, I'll say it: Andrew Harris can ball.

More than capable offense. Lousy bend and break defense. That about sums it up. -

*with solid depth, very good Canadian talent, Calvillo behind centre, and Jim Popp as the GM Meanwhile, O'Shea inherited a 3-15 team with zero depth, no Canadian talent, and no QB. Oh, and rookie GM. "Solid apples to apples comparison, though," said nobody ever. -

I don't remember him rotating with Wild, I do remember Kuale being absolutely awful to watch pretty much every single game, though. All I'm saying is this: at the time when those respective players were on the team, I don't think there were better options on the roster. 2014 and 2015 were awful seasons from the overall roster quality standpoint. -
Ah, what a game that was. Here's the YouTube clip for anyone who wants to relive that awesomeness:

Loffler was an unproven rookie. In hindsight, it worked out exceptionally well for the team but let's not pretend like that's the rule. Also, who would've you preferred to see in place of Romby and Peach, or even Kuale in previous seasons? It isn't like the roster was flush with depth when those players were here. Admittedly, Hurl's a bit of a head scratcher, though. -
Yeah, the Jets from a team defense standpoint were utter trash and have been for the majority of their time since relocation. That's the problem. Goalie hit the nail on the head.

http://3downnation.com/2017/07/26/matt-nichols-says-respects-alouettes-defence-kyries-hebert-isnt-buying/ Hebert's reaction: What an odd interpretation. Nichols makes no specific mention of a player but Hebert decides to take it personally. What a neurotic weirdo.

Bombers @ Lions: Game Day Thread (07/21/17)

He and Barker have done amazingly well at finding QBs. Hell, what's Barker up to these days? He and O'Shea worked together back in Toronto. Get him here in some kind of a player personnel role.
