Game 22: vs. Jets 1.0 (Coyotes)

Wheeler looks like he's aged about five years when he's on the ice. Scheifele apparently had no symptoms but he hasn't looked good at all this season. -

While I neither agree nor disagree with Maurice being the right fit at head coach, the writer of this article is just another fan with emotions guiding his narrative. I mean, he basically declared the Jets a "legitimate cup contender" back in August. And then all of two weeks ago: https://thehockeywriters.com/winnipeg-jets-seven-game-homestand-observations-observations/ Pick a lane, Declan.

Doesn't change the fact they're not underpaid. Making millions of dollars (or even hundreds of thousands) to play a sport is a privilege. But for Colaiacovo to whine on Twitter while not looking at the factors as to why other athletes in different sports get paid more than he and his colleagues do is pretty tone-deaf when you consider the state of the world at present and how many fans of these sports don't have the financial stability pro athletes enjoy. Furthermore, those exorbitant contracts are often insured and even with a career-ending injury, an athlete still gets paid. And it's not like the average person can't suffer similar injuries in their work. First responders, medical professionals, tradespeople - just to name a few - face injury risk while on the job and in some instances, their income is not guaranteed. Colaicovo earned nearly $13M while playing professional hockey. Going on social media to cry about NHL salaries vis a vis other leagues' salaries is a bad look, IMO.

Read that clownboy's Twitter bio. STH since 2013 and organizational shareholder since 2017. If his history is any indication, he's a complete homer who lacks the ability to be objective or rational at all, seemingly already forgetting his team barely eeked out a win on Sunday on home turf. And then he chirps the Ti-Cats: Not a good look considering the Hangry Clown DB Drama right now.

The disturbingly high number of human garbage piles on this planet fueled by willful ignorance and abject stupidity is just exhausting anymore.

Maybe Jesus Sprinkles is code for something else... And perhaps Doug Brown was on to something with the white combines remark...

Worked out well for the home team last night... Ugh. Something stinks in Jetsland. -
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/falsified-covid19-documents-cbsa-1.6266686 It must take a seriously narcissistic piece of **** person to do this kind of thing.

Difference being Burris has actually backed up his talk at times and led his teams when it mattered. Fajardo has one MOP nomination and has had fat-head syndrome ever since. Lemon's ejection at half-time really hindered the Stampeders' ability to contain Fajardo in the second half, IMO. 77 of his 89 rush yards came in the second half. That being said, the Bombers' D-line is leaps and bounds ahead of the Stampeders' and we saw how woefully ineffective Fajardo was in both games during the season vs. WPG. There is nothing to suggest Sunday's game will be any different, especially with the crowd noise.
