  1. The offense never platooned Nichols and Streveler at any point during the 2019 season prior to the former's season-ending injury. Streveler was deployed in a backup/third down role at that time while Nichols was playing well at the beginning of that season. Whether that's an LaPolice or not is irrelevant at this point, IMO. But I think it's fair to say he relied predominantly on Harris as the feature of the offense for the four seasons he was here as OC, with the passing game taking a back seat way more often than not.
  2. You should consult a dictionary before using words erroneously while playing misguided devil's advocate and making dipshitted false equivalencies. And now the NHL is going into damage control mode:
  3. What an asinine ******* comment.
  4. The silence of apathetic or indifferent people is no better than the cruelty or malice of bad people in situations such as this - and it's pretty appalling. It continues to speak to what's rotten in professional hockey, IMO. What's even more twisted is that Beach was labelled a first round bust shortly after and subsequently buried in the Blackhawks organization, destroying whatever career aspirations he had. **** the Blackhawks.
  5. Just ugly, ugly optics all around. And the fact that they both sat in a meeting regarding the event only throws fuel on that fire. This is probably not going to end well for either Quenneville or Cheveldayoff.
  6. You know we're being spoiled as fans when...
  7. Just bye week things. Patience by the WFC paid off, which is all that matters at this point. The Blue Bombers are the class of the league right now.
  8. Me watching this thread unravel, just glad Pierce's tenure as OC is going so well and the team is 10-1 with first place locked up.

  14. Nah, only LaPolice is. All the arrogance in the CFL belongs to him. /s Seriously, though, I agree. Desjardins did little to nothing to retain talent or a balanced roster, and I don't think any HC could've done much better. FWIW, LaPolice probably gets a season or two to get the team back on track.

  16. IIRC, he played in two regular season games for the Bengals during the 2020 season and spent the rest of his NFL tenure on the practice squad until he was released this past September.
  17. I didn't say anyone was. I think the term "sloppy seconds" is ridiculous, that's all.
  18. Rose being one such player if all things are equal. What's ridiculous is there's nothing "sloppy seconds" about Sayles - at all. Has was a CFL All-Star in 2019.
  19. Incompetent? Yes. He's not HC material. Arrogant? Nah.
  20. Easily the most dominant performance I've ever seen in person. That was a beatdown for the ages. Who else is excited for Dec. 5th?!
  21. You made a claim without any proof to back it up. You think ticketing based on income is ridiculous but Finland does just that while sharing a similar GDP to Canada (https://www.gfmag.com/global-data/economic-data/richest-countries-in-the-world). (https://versus.com/en/canada-vs-finland) If GDP is irrelevant, what's the alternative that substantiates your claim that Finland is the third richest country in the world? Don't apologize; just present evidence.
  22. Like Finland being the third richest country in the world?
