107th GREY CUP - Tiger-Cats @ Blue Bombers
WBBFanWest replied to JCon's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
So, Simoni Lawrence, a guy who deliberately tries to injure other players (and members of the CFLPA) is ok to be an all-star, but Harris, who yes, did have trace amounts of a banned substance in his system, but has never tried to injury anyone is not? If the CFLPA is trying to send a message to someone I'm not so sure that the message is one they're intending. -
You're sounding a bit testy. Are you worried about this coming Sunday and dreading the possibility of a Bomber win?
-
If Walters is out and O'Shea stays that would mean that this would have been Wade Miller's call. I'm finding this somewhat difficult to swallow.
-
And TBurg. There are a few of us that still live in Manitoba. Rumor has it that one actually lives in Winnipeg. I'm not sure if that's true or one of those urban myths

107th GREY CUP - Tiger-Cats @ Blue Bombers
WBBFanWest replied to JCon's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
We beat Calgary in their barn wearing whites, then we beat the Riders in their toilet bowl wearing whites, when we beat the Tabbies in Calgary's barn wearing the whites, will have to purchase a white jersey. Go Bombers, so want to go jersey shopping! -
If your backup can come in and not skip a beat, he's a starter. There's a reason that it doesn't happen very often. When it does, it forces a change the QB situation. Watch what happens in Hamilton and Calgary. Welcome to life in a salary cap age.

^^ This ^^ Would have thought that whoever is the boss of the secondary would have made sure that they would be going for a knockdown only. No interceptions required. Sure hope that they talk about that when they watch the film. Need to have a little better situational awareness, especially on a critical play like that.
-
Ya, we know.
-
It occurred to me that if we had played Saskatchewan first and had the result that we did, there would be all sorts of posters here reminding us that the real test would be to go to Calgary and beat the Stamps. Well, I think that beating Calgary WAS the real test. So for me I don't give one whit how injured Fajardo is or isn't. It isn't going to make a bit of difference. The only team that can beat the Bombers this coming Sunday is the Bombers. Period. The Blue and Gold play like they are capable of and Regina is nothing more that a speed bump. Have a great time in Regina all who are going and remember to stop in Virden. Last indoor plumbing you'll see for a while.

3 stars plus hh world beating blue bombers

Colour me shocked. The Bombers win and Captain Contrarian goes for the old tried and true "BLM played a bad game." TBurg is going to be the saddest Bomber fan in the world if we win the Cup. Of course, if we do, it will only happen because the other teams played badly. -
This is what happens when you drink and post stuff at 3am.
-
And if they don't sell out, clearly, it's all because of the player/coach awards. It would have nothing at all to do with the weather. Welcome back to the ignore list...
-
No, the president of the internet probably cares more about your concerns that the people here do.
-
So might I suggest that instead of framing your thought as a question, you simply state your opinion? Something like "they should wait until the season is over to start any awards". That way it could be explained to you that these awards are for the regular season and that by doing it this way, they can add some buzz to the week preceding the Grey Cup, instead of afterwards when all the players and coaches have gone home and fewer fans will care.
-
Try writing an sharply worded letter to the president of the internet. That'll show them.
-
You know how they say that there are no dumb questions? If they are announcing the nominees now, doesn't that sort of answer your question before you asked it?
-
The reason they didn't vote for him was that they didn't vote for him. It had nothing to do with stats or value to the team. It was a personal decision. You can't fix that except by removing their right to vote, or by making the rules crystal clear as to when someone becoming ineligible for consideration.
-
Those are important but I really think that points scored is going to end up being the key statistic.
-
My apologies to the kid in the clip...
-
And you wonder why people here seem to have an issue with you? Let me show you in a way you might understand. To make it extra clear, you are not the dog...

And, I heard that Appleby has rats. Found a whole rat in my cobb salad.
-
And I would add that it's probably going to be easier supporting a store that's relatively close versus one that is on the other side of the city.
-
But other than that, he's doing a good job, right?

So, turns out that the dream is still alive. Good thing that we invested in those lotto tickets and didn't just throw in the towel!
