  1. You know, when you have Chip telling you that you're too negative, it's probably time to walk away for a bit.
  2. Goting to say something that might actually shock you, but here it goes: Your opinion is not "reality" nor is it "truth", it's just your opinion. Nothing more than that. Sorry to burst your bubble.
  3. A sneak peak at today's festivities in Riderland:
  4. We've gotten 2 wins in two tries with him at the helm. Neither Mitchell or Reilly can say that. Are they better quarterbacks? Maybe, but thankfully, football is a team game and this team is winning. Funny how quickly we forget the days when we weren't, the days when we were trying to figure out how many wins we might get and whether that would be enough to get us into the playoffs. Nichols isn't the best qb in the league, but maybe, he doesn't need to be.
  5. Booch I think that the problem is that people are afraid that the CFL might do an audit on the game stats of our two games and when they see that we didn't pass for more than 300 yards each time, they'll pull the wins. We can't just rely on points scored.
  6. This. A bye after the first game of the season likely means that the "jelling" takes just that much longer. And even still, we won.
  7. Wow. All I can say is I can't wait to see what happens when we finally lose a game. Please keep this number close to the phone: Klinic Crisis Line (24/7) Phone: (204) 786-8686
  8. Football is often about big plays. It's sort of the whole point. The argument might as well be "if we hadn't scored enough points, we would have lost".
  9. I'm sorry that I can't match your very high standards of all quality posts, all the time. But hey, if my posting bothers you...
  10. Speaking of original posts...
  11. Why don't you focus on something from maybe the last 5 years or so, or is complaining about things that happened 8 years ago your thing? Because if you checked, we've actually done pretty well in more modern history.
  12. And how exactly, do the stadium owners market their wares during a CFL broadcast? I'm quite sure that TSN did not do that stuff for free.
  13. If you are wanting to attract people who live in that particular city, but haven't been to a game in a while, or ever, wouldn't showing them some of the "stuff" you can get at the stadium be a good idea. Marketing is marketing.
  14. He talks crazy talk
  15. You either need to take way more medication, or if you're already taking lots of medication, then take less because, this ain't RiderFans.
  16. All I can say is that, I think if I was a Rider fan, my major concern would be that the team looks like they absolutely ****ing suck. That’s a 4 win team at most.
  17. Toronto vs Saskatchewan - if there was any way to pick both of them to lose, I'd have gone with that.
  18. Andrew Harris
  19. It's almost like Walters knows what he's doing, because I heard that losing three all-stars was going to be the most devastating thing to happen since the Hindenburg.
  20. Actually, a lot of the Riders deferred revenue comes from blackmail payments. You have no idea how much money can be generated when you call a player and say "Give us money or we will trade for you and you'll have to spend the next 2 years waking up in Regina." Even Liam Neeson wouldn't touch that threat.
  21. Maybe it wasn't Edmonton's first game of the season? Maybe BC was a bit deflated after losing their home opener? Honestly, I know we've had years of practice at being disappointed but let's not worry too much. We match up well against any other team in the league and finally I'm hoping that now it's the other team's turn to worry about us!
  22. Well, won't be seeing Bluto around here until December. There are 10's of people devastated by the results of today's game.
  23. Now, in fairness, when you consider the number of loop backs the average family tree has in Sakatchewan, the calculations can get quite challenging.
