  1. You know what the real problem is with something like that? A comment like that leaves Rich open to legal action as well. Comments like that should not go unanswered. There's absolutely no excuse for it.
  2. Talk, as they say, is cheap.
  3. Feel free to get in another jalopy then and head on out...
  4. But this is "reality". How can you argue with "reality"?
  5. I love it when people declare their poorly supported speculations as "reality". Here's a little tip for you: when all the voices in your head are telling you you're right, you probably aren't.
  6. It's asinine comments like his (the old football guy, not you 17to85) that make me ever so thankful for the ignore function. Now if we could just figure out a way to hide when they get quoted, life would be grand!
  7. No, because those sorts of things do not need to be known by the general public. The sense of entitlement is strong in this one.
  8. So the tweet give you hope, but that doesn't suggest anything? Ok then.
  9. Actually, when you listen to the whole quote, I don't hear Harris suggesting that Bighill will be back at all, in fact I'm hearing suggest that guys will do "what's best for their families". That could mean anything, but Bighill's family is in BC...
  10. I'm thinking we just cut to the chase and ask TBurg!
  11. I light thee up!
  12. I think that not giving the HC the ability to pick his staff is a huge red flag that had nothing to do about being right, or the smartest guy in the room. It may have more to do with having the freedom to do what you feel is right without having upper management second guessing. You are either in charge or you are not, and if they won't let you be in charge of hiring your own staff, what else are they going to decide for you?
  13. If only these teams would wise up and just give TBurg a call first.
  14. Could we maybe find someone who isn't a choice simply because we know his name? Is Buck Pierce really ready. None of us has clue one about that but hey, we know his name. Likewise Khari. He's been less than stellar as an OC so why reward him by giving him the keys here? Ryan Dinwiddie is someone who may show some promise, but I'm not overly convinced. And no, I don't have a name to offer right now, but I won't pick someone out just because I know his name and the guy used to wear blue and gold.
  15. Remember, this is in Saskatchewan. I don't think that livestock counts.
  16. You also have the right to remain silent. You may, however, lack the ability
  17. When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. You really need to stop digging because you're embarrassing yourself.
  18. Yes, I agree. What could possibly go wrong ? Great idea to move a quarterback along before you are sure that you have his replacement. That strategy has worked out so well for us in the past.
  19. To do the playing field would be just under 88,000 square feet. I can't imagine the cost of installation, but then there would be operational costs too. I'm thinking that your understanding of "not that much" must be very different than mine.
  20. I'd buy one just to tick off a certain someone.
  21. If we offer 250k and BC offers 200K he might sign with us. Or... he might decide that 50k is not worth it and take the lower offer because maybe he sees things differently than you do. As weird as this sounds to a lot of people, it's not always about the money.
  22. They actually outlawed indentured servitude several decades ago. I supposed we could call someone to pay Bighill a visit and "make him an offer he can't refuse" but I would think that his motivation to play might be impacted a little. Seriously, you need to take a step back and think a bit. Not everyone will be affected solely by the dollars on the table. If his family is happier in BC, then he might not want to play here any longer regardless how much more money we might offer.
