I would concur. Wild theories are entertaining at best and annoying at worst, but libel is another thing altogether. There should be zero tolerance for that sort of garbage.

It wouldn't be poaching. The Lions had to ask permission to talk with him and the Stamps had to grant it. I think that it's reasonable for a team, if they want someone off of another team's staff, to pay the other club. Don't see anything wrong with this at all.

The Lions are compensating the Stamps for allowing him to break the contract an leave. In theory, they could have said "non" and that would have ended it. Think of this as a cancellation fee.

Ever seen the movie "Talladega Nights"? You remind me of Ricky Bobby insulting his boss but prefacing it with "with all due respect" An insult is still an insult. Just like trolling is still trolling even if you type "Go Bombers !" afterwards.

You know what the real problem is with something like that? A comment like that leaves Rich open to legal action as well. Comments like that should not go unanswered. There's absolutely no excuse for it.

I think that not giving the HC the ability to pick his staff is a huge red flag that had nothing to do about being right, or the smartest guy in the room. It may have more to do with having the freedom to do what you feel is right without having upper management second guessing. You are either in charge or you are not, and if they won't let you be in charge of hiring your own staff, what else are they going to decide for you?

If only these teams would wise up and just give TBurg a call first.

He's been less than stellar as an OC so why reward him by giving him the keys here? Ryan Dinwiddie is someone who may show some promise, but I'm not overly convinced.
