  1. Could have had arms like this:
  2. Hey, give them credit for releasing him. I would have thought that with the way that Jones thinks, he would have named Messam a team captain.
  3. Meanwhile, in Regina, the dumpster fire intensifies...
  4. Comes to a Bomber fan site, ******* about Nichols, is surprised that he gets push back. You're entitled to your opinion, but then again, if you're going to criticize, don't piss and moan about pushback, because we're entitled to comment about your opinion
  5. In fairness, marketing the Argos in Toronto is like trying to sell snow shovels in Hawaii. Nobody wants them, nobody needs them.
  6. That can be said about any play though. The 50 yard bomb downfield works great, when it works. The hand off up the gut is great, when it works. Yet the pass can be intercepted and the hand off fumbled. There is no safe play. The idea is to take educated risks to keep the D a little bit off balance, and from my perspective, appears to be working.
  7. I think that's the point, isn't it? Calling a trick play when they know it's coming might not be as productive. I think that when you've got some people saying that our OC is too conservative and others saying that there is too much razzle-dazzle that's a good indication that he's probably spot on.
  8. Great prognostication! What are your numbers for 6-49?
  9. Revisionist thinking > best thinking. As I recall, there were a lot of people that were happy that signing Durant gave us a veteran backup. I also remember how dismayed people were when he suddenly took off with the money. Funny that. No. I seem to recall a lot of excitement around here when his signing was announced. Yes, it's too bad that they money was wasted, but that's not the fault of Walters. That's just bad luck.
  10. Ya it's really frustrating that Walters can't see into the future like all the other GMs. It makes me mad when he spends money trying to make this team better. I want to go back to the good old days where we didn't try so hard and were happy raiding the scrapheaps of other teams. I mean, come on, look at all the success we had when we did that!
  11. We get it, you don't like Hall. Not sure what you're going to do if his defense keeps improving, but feel free to not slag him in every other post you make. That would be grand.
  12. We get it, you live in Saskatchewan.
  13. Gotta ride the Harris train again.
  14. always a ray of shitshine...
  15. I'm sure Bluto can pop in and offer several excuses as to why the "hundreds of thousands" of Argo fans aren't able to grace the team with their presence. Sadly, the one reason that holds the most truth: "Toronto does not give a flying fig about the Argos or the CFL" won't likely make it to his list.
  16. While that is really too bad, remember that the Bombers didn't trade him because he was just too good. They traded him because his play had made him expendable. People have complained about O'Shea's loyalty to players. Well, this is what "produce or else" looks like. Now , having said that, please O'Shea, don't start Langford...
  17. You sir, are my hero and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
  18. Cuthbert: Manziel in the shotgun, here comes the rush. Manziel rolls to his right, he's looking downfield... Bowman is wide open! There's the throw... and... and... and... well, at least this time he managed to get both hands on it before he dropped it. Dunnigan: I'm not sure that the last four drops were all Adarius' fault. I'm betting that the fifth time's gotta be the charm.
  19. Ok, I gotta ask, do you have any experience working on boards, cause from what you're suggesting, I'm thinking that you don't. And by boards, I don't mean the local parents board for little league, I'm talking about corporate or major not for profit or government.
  20. Loneliness will do that.
  21. Of course, people never learn and grow right. We are who we are and never change? Your arguement is so bad it's almost not worth pointing that out. But here goes... Yes, let's look at Bellefeuille. Which CFL team is he the OC for again? Oh yea, no one. Not going to be one again, I'd wager because he's never been anything beyond mediocre in several attempts. But you know what, if we fired LaPolice, I'd bet he'd have no trouble whatsoever finding employment as an OC in this league. None at all, because he's clearly not the same guy he was when he was first with us. Is he the best OC in the league? I don't know but we've had one of the best offences in the league in the past little while. If people want to dump all over Hall because of our D, then people also have to give credit to LaPolice.
  22. Seriously? He's been hired as many times as he has for a reason too.
  23. And as we all know, the best way to make a name for yourself and insure more playing time is to deviate from the plan and show the coaches that you really don't need their opinion. Coaches love that!
