With respect to Tillman, he had his day in court and received (if memory serves) an absolute discharge. I also recall that the victim's family seemed to have no issue with that at all. That doesn't in any way excuse what he did, but he did plead guilty. He was out of football for a while and now he's a GM that has virtually no interaction with the media or public, and public attention was something he craved. So while I'm in no way shape or form a Tillman fan, I do think that there is magnitudes of difference between his one time actions (as reprehensible as they were) and Briles'

It never ceases to amaze me when people who call themselves fans of the Bombers will predict a loss. Sure, a loss is possible every game, but personally, I go in expecting the Blue to win. Especially against the Riders. So to all of you saying "we're going to lose on Labour Day", shame, shame on all of you!

I know that American border agents can and do bar people from entry "just because". That might be where this idea is coming from but I don't know if our officers have quite the same leeway.

Assuming that the league does not take action right now, it seems to me that if fans are truly outraged, they can sway this quite easily: stay away from any game that involves the Tiger-Cats at home and away. Take the money that you would have spent at the game and donated to your local women's shelter and then let the CFL know that you've done it. Will it hurt other teams? Yes, but just watch how quick the CFL acts when the bottom line gets impacted. Having said this, it would be a very sad day for the league if it actually has to come to this. I'm hoping the commissioner does the right thing and "encourages" Hamilton to change it's mind on this one.

So how many extra points in the standings did your "decisive" victories get you. Last time I looked it's 2 points for a win regardless of the score. We've been finding ways to win, you've been praying for teams to play the worst game of the year. Good luck with that moving forward.
