  1. Ummm, no, not at all.
  2. Really? Missed that entirely. But then again, if O'Shea and Floyd are of differing opinions, I'm siding with Floyd every time, cause... blue dog is blue.
  3. Did I miss something? Who was suggesting that Temple would be a MLB?
  4. The final touches on the new Mosaic stadium:
  5. Meh. TCF
  6. Are you suggesting that somethings rotten in the state of Denmark?
  7. Yes, Do or Die is a class all by himself.
  8. I pray that Jones is planning to go the Kevin Glenn route for his starting QB. If he does, i hope he schedules practice time to work on tackling drills with his receivers.
  9. I understand he's expecting nothing less that a regular season record 18-1, but hopefully 19-0.
  10. It looks like Andre Durie posted a farewell tweet to Bluto and the other guy. Don't know why he couldn't have just named them personally instead of call the both of them "Toronto Fans" http://www.cfl.ca/2017/02/16/argos-durie-pens-emotional-goodbye-letter/
  11. I stand corrected on the fact that he does indeed play special teams. Should have checked a bit more before I posted that.
  12. I think if you go back and check, he's not the only guy on teams, so they do rely on other good players too. Having said that, paying a Canadian guy who's good at special teams mainstay and can spot fill a position like linebacker is a better use of dollars that spending that money and maybe more on a backup running back that doesn't play teams (as far as I know) and will rarely see the field.
  13. You're still struggling with this "special teams is really a thing" concept, aren't you.
  14. Is that using real math or Rider math cause... numbers are hard. If it's real numbers, then Jones must get a bulk discount for the dozens and dozens of 2016 training camp fodder
  15. The way the time lines play out for Hurl, I suspect that he most definitely did take a pay cut. He came on board initially penciled in as a starter. Didn't work out. Now he's coming in as depth - special teams. You don't get starter money for that. I'm thinking he thought he could do better than what the Bombers were offering, so he dipped his toe into the free agent waters and when offers didn't come pouring in, he decided that maybe the Bombers deal wasn't so bad after all.
  16. Meh. If he's signed for backup/special teams dollars, we could do worse.
  17. Well, you'd be wrong, but you'll never acknowledge it so there we are.
  18. Funner fact. First Nations folks did not immigrate here because the definition of immigration is: "the international movement of people into a destination country of which they are not natives or where they do not possess citizenship in order to settle or reside there." There was no nation or country to immigrate to because that concept did not yet exist, therefore, they migrated. That's why it is inaccurate to say that they are immigrants too.
  19. You are absolutely right. I was just going to edit my post, but instead I'll just leave it there as a monument to my boneheadedness.
  20. Very very pleased by this. I'm thinking that of all our potential free agents, Walters managed to snag the biggest one at the last second. Nicely done!
  21. Your logic works only if Bennett thought to himself "I need to be a starting QB in the worst way"
  22. While it is true that there can be guys that look good in practice but meh on the field, it is not that often that a guy will look meh in practice but then go out there and tear it up on the field. If day after day, the Bombers were watching Bennett and decided that he wasn't, for whatever reason, what they were looking for, I'd tend to go with that.
  23. Yes our situation is very similar to Toronto's...
