That's why some of us are smart enough not to make silly proclamations. I'd rather watch and see what happens instead of pretending that I have any way of knowing what's going to happen, because just like you, I have no clue.

It appears that complaining isn't limited to Winnipegers.

I seem to remember a game this year that they won, but it took them a field goal on the last play of the game in order to do it. Yes they are a good team, but they most certainly are not "unbeatable".

I also remember the 66 blizzard because my parents and all the other adults on our rural road had to clear out a half mile in order to get to the highway. I was too little to help so I just got to play on the drifts!

I remember that our rear wheel drive cruisers kept getting stuck so we had to use some front wheel drive K-Cars to patrol in for a day.

I think you must have played a few too many games without a mask . Chamblin was a terrible DC and an even worse HC. No thank you.

It might have gone something like this: Walters: Hey Mike, why did you decide to kick the field goal instead going for the first down? O'Shea: Because I decided that was the better call. Walters: Fine, but remember, if you ever want my advice on a coaching decision, I'm ready to bring my three years as a mediocre CFL special teams coach to bear. O'Shea: Thanks for that Kyle, I'll keep it in mind.

So, with the right players, a coach can have success. And in other news, rain is wet.

No he wouldn't, but as it looked to me, he simply wasn't going to respond because the decision was O'Shea's alone to make and Walters' feelings, one way or the other would be irrelevant and he wasn't going to take the bait. In other words, "the stupid question receives the appropriate answer".

Is it okay if I say "I thought it already had"...?

Actually, the few pros that I do know seem to be pretty sensible guys who understand that everyone screws up from time to time and they also don't seem to live out their careers following the dumb sports cliches that fans believe.

The only vets that won't want to play for a coach that might have screwed up are the ones that have never screwed up themselves. How many of those do you think are out there?

So, the fact that this year there was clear improvement means nothing at all? You sound like you were expecting this team to go from 5-13 last year and a 1-4 start to 2016 and then do what exactly, win the Cup? You do realize that this team might actually get better, right? You sound completely unrealistic, and I'm trying to be charitable in my description. Take a chill pill and if at this time next year we're in the same position then feel free to *****. Jeez...

He has never kicked a field goal farther than 58 yards. Ever. Don't give a whit about practice. the odds were most certainly NOT equal

Sort of pointless referring to teams that have nothing whatsoever to do with the current regime, but hey, that's just me.

Not lately we haven't, and that's sort of the point. We have come a long way in one year, and while winning the whole thing would have been nice, it's not all that realistic this year.

Not exactly sure why someone would feel the need to post to say something like "I think they'll lose, but I'll be really happy if they don't". Sort of playing both angles at the same time. Not really all that helpful or insightful. You know what? Not every thought one has needs to be shared. Personally, I really hope the Bombers win and so does my gut. Period.

It seems to me that you're trying to dredge up history that is not really relevant, nor all that accurate in my opinion, so I guess we will disagree and move on.
