  1. So does the CFL just count points generated by the offence or all points? Pretty sure it's the latter. As was said, if we generated 35+ points, that should be enough to win, providing that the D holds.
  2. I understand that WBBFanWest believes that speaking in the 4th person is the way to go.
  3. Heaven forbid that some people would actually consider that maybe, the reason the Bombers did better is because... wait for it... they actually played better. Na, far better to suggest that the other team "let up". Works better for the "we suck" agenda
  4. I saw the words " Noeller and 17 actually got blown" and stopped reading...
  5. Well, when a mommy and daddy bunny really love each other...
  6. In Riderland - fair to middling
  7. To me, it really doesn't matter if the kid had been decked out head to toe in Rider stuff. You leave kids alone. Have some fun with adult fans of rival teams, but let the little ones just be. I've high fived little rider fans, just because I think it's great that there might be another CFL fan growing up to support the league. And consider this, if the kid is decked out in Rider wear, isn't he already suffering enough?
  8. I've read in several places how Carter had the physical talent to be in the NFL, yet here he is, getting paid a small fraction of what he could be earning down south. If he has the physical skills, what's holding him back? (By the way, that's really a rhetorical question). He ain't coming here. Let it go.
  9. Seriously? Just about every other day there seems to be a story of him having issues with someone on the team. The bumping thing in Ottawa showed the level of intelligence and maturity this guy has. It's clear that this guy would be nothing but a huge distraction and I'm pretty confident that O'Shea would make it clear that he does not want this guy anywhere near the Bombers locker room.
  10. The saddest part of this whole thing is that while those idiots were abusing a little boy, it would appear that no one stepped up (except Rider fans) to defend him and his mom. “All that is necessary for the triumph of evilis that good men do nothing.” - Edmund Burke
  11. Just for future reference, most of us here use English routinely, so to paraphrase Donald Trump, "We have the best words". We also have access to this: http://www.dictionary.com/
  12. I liked the part when O'Shea turned to the crowd and said "What shall I do then with Drew, which is called Willy? and they shouted "Crucify him!" Seriously, you sure love the drama...
  13. Ummm, that's the Regina Symphony Orchestra. You're mocking the pinnacle of Saskatchewan class and culture
  14. Or... maybe people started playing better because they had confidence in Nichols and had lost confidence in Drew. You're right, it's never a everything or nothing on the qb, but I think you're underestimating just how bad Willy was playing. The team (o-line, d, special teams) seems to be playing with a heart and a grit that was missing earlier in the season. Did everyone suddenly get better or did a change in qb help spark it all. My guess is that it was a little of the former and a whole lot more of the latter.
  15. One man's reasons are another man's excuses. For example: Willy never got to play with this o-line so we don't know how good he could have been. Seems reasonable on the face of it until you factor in that if you hang on to the ball as long as Willy did, no o line will ever be good enough. And if all you're prepared to do is throw check down passes because you lack the confidence to do anything else, that's not on anyone else. Drew might yet turn out to be a good qb, but if he does, it's not because the o-line got fixed, it's because his head was.
  16. And at the same time, there are those who want to try and find excuses for a qb's bad play.
  17. Not going to happen though. I like my keyboard too much.
  18. It's not often that someone helps me prove a point so quickly and completely, Thanks for that.
  19. Guess we should just advise the league that we forfeit the game then... Seriously, gotta love the can't do attitude of some people.
  20. Just a point about that. If the deal was signed before the game, I think that Heath would officially be a Bomber and wouldn't be able to play. Not to mention the fact that if the deal was signed and then Heath ended up getting hurt, that would "complicate" things a whole bunch.
  21. No, but then again, so can Willy, so I'm not sure that we come out ahead on this one.
  22. Burris is far worse in the clutch is he? Really like to see you back that little nugget up.
  23. The trade with Montreal is is a big meh. We got rid of an underperforming backup qb for the king of the underperforming qb's. So ultimately we still have an underperforming backup qb, but at least this underperforming qb is a lot cheaper. As for the Toronto trade, I imagine that the call went like this: Walters: Hi Jim. I'd like to suggest a trade. Barker: What's on your mind? Walters: How about Willy for your 1st rounder next year, your 3rd rounder the year after that and TJ Heath Barker: HA HA HA, ya sure. Why in the world would I ever agree to something that crazy. Walters: Open the attachment on the email I just sent you. Barker: Oh crap, someone took pictures...
  24. So you'd rather they keep him no matter what, just so they would never have to admit that maybe things didn't work out they way they had hoped. I'd expect a little better from them than that.
